Hey! Are you a fat, lazy weeaboo who wants to actually lose weight and get into shape but can, for some reason, only be motivated to do some exercise with the help of cute moe-blob girls? Then you need the Anitore XX DVD! With this amazing program, you'll complete a wide range of exercises in which you only get a two minute work-out once every week! If you don't change your diet whatsoever, you'll lose an amazing zero pounds! Feel your life and soul wasting away as you begin to realise you're a pathetic waste of space who can't even gather the motivation to work-out
...
unless cute, ten-year-old girls are instructing you how to do so! Still not convinced? Then just listen to this testimony:
"I watch this show for my weekly fix of loli masturbation"
-Some Filthy Weeb in Japan.
This show is strange. Damn strange. I have no idea what crap the creators were smoking when they thought this was a good idea. The show consists of short three minute episodes and in each episode, a different girl teaches you how to do certain exercise complete with them moaning and panting softly to make it more fetishy and sexual for all of the greasy Otakus to fap themselves silly. I guess that the main purpose of this anime was to motivate all of the Otakus in Japan to get up out of their chairs or whatever and actually do some exercise, in a rather weak attempt granted. However, even when analysing the show's only purpose of existing I would imagine it would do a pretty crappy job. For starters, only about 30% of the episode actually consists of exercising and the rest is made up of crappy comedy and pointless filler. Not only that, each exercise the show requires from you only consists of ten counts and the show comes out every week. If someone WERE to do these exercises it effectively means that they would only be doing about three minutes worth of exercise a week; hardly a substantial amount. Now, I understand that they may be motivated to do more than this amount but I highly doubt that since the show does a poor job at actually creating motivation and instead leads to more confusion if anything. If I wanted to get fit, I would actually join a gym or just simply go running in the park or some crap. Why do I need some brainless moe-blobs teaching me how to get fit? They try so hard to aim and pander to its demographic that it's laughably pathetic.
The audience assumes the role of the nameless main protagonist who is never seen and we experience the world through his eyes to make the show easier to self-insert ourselves, 'cause who the hell cares about personalities anymore, right? Each girl is given a cookie-cutter personality trait and design whether that be the energetic type, the chuunibyou, the one with the big tits or the token loli tsundere 'Konno Baka!' type. None of them are interesting and are as generic and vapid as you can possibly get in terms of characters which all desperately appeal and pander towards the Otaku fan-base. The show makes an attempt to give them personality and tries to convey the underlying idea that the girls secretly have feelings for the main character but it comes across as so superficial and, again, feels like more pandering. The show is a lot like the Hinako OVAs. In these OVAs, a nameless protagonist who sees the world the way we see hangs out with a big breasted girl who does exercise, takes a bath and then watches her for forty-five minutes as she sleeps. Sure, it's not as creepy but both shows are equally as pointless as each other and completely fail in their respected intentions (whatever Hinako's intentions actually were; I have no clue.)
The animation and general look were okay for a show of this nature, and as I said, the girls are pretty cute and with a short run-time, I can MAYBE...MAYBE recommend this trash, only if you really want to see a bunch of girls do exercise and moan sexually. This show is pointless. Even when inferring its possible point, I would imagine it fails in that regard too. It has nothing interesting, nothing good and is an empty husk. It serves no purpose and instead of working to lose weight I want to work to kill myself instead.
