A bunch of cute guys who do sports together in a high school club. Cheer Danshi animation isn't Kyoani's but it's still great.

Similar vibe as to recruit member and to make dream come through

Both anime are about cheerleading, but Anima Yell! is about girls and Cheer Danshi!! is about boys

Cheer Danshi contains a lot of the same inspiring vibes that Haikyuu is wrapped around when it comes to not giving up for the sake of a long distant goal in sports. They also focus on male friends developing a set of teamwork skills together.

Both about sports and working as a team . One is about boy cheerleading and tsrune is about archery

Both shows focus on rookies joining a new sport, a MC with a past of sports who quit for varying reasons and melodrama. They’re both very much “sports slow burn” with our characters not playing until almost the end of the show, with very heart racing and climatic scenes. They’re both great for the melodramatic sports slow burn fans, and show an awesomely under shown sport each. (Although, it should be noted, these are both "sports slow-burns" with little sport action and focus on the characters more so - go in expecting sports as a theme and not the main plot!)

Both are sports anime centred around a group of boys competing as a team in a sport that are usually seen as being more 'feminine'. In Cheer Danshi, the sport is cheer, and in Skate-Leading Stars, although the actual sport is made up, figure skating as a sport is often seen as being female-dominated. There are also a few similar characters in the shows such, such as Mizoguchi from Cheer Danshi and Kiriyama from Skate-Leading Stars, and, overall, the shows just have similar vibes. If you liked one, you'll probably like the other.

- Both follow all boy's sports teams. - The sports (cheerleading and rhythmic gymnastics) are pretty similar. - Overall similar vibes.

Both are sports animes that have fun characters. Deal a lot with friendship and relationships between characters.

Dive!! Looks similiar, for me, to Cheer Danshi. Not the same aspect (art and story), but it gives you the same feeling(Both MC's). The story of both animes are great. Art is good too, and the spirit of "fighting" of both MC are almost the same.

Cheer Danshi is a Cheerleading sport anime about a bunch of hard working guys trying to make a Mancheerleading Squad. It's sorta inspiring... Different from "Yuri on Ice" when it comes to sport and relationship, and yes not as enchanting but!! I kept watching it Because it reminded me of "Yuri on ice". It really gived me a very close vibe! The anime is awesome and has a cool bunch of heartwarming characters. I really think you will like it either way! it's worth watching <3 <3

Both have a similar feeling of a group of cheerful guys trying to accomplish things. One is about a musical and another about cheerleading, but they're both very light-hearted with passionate characters.

Both animes revlove around a club activity (Ensemble and Cheerleading) As well as having character development to the side characters, and overcoming the problems and conflicts that they had made. Also, Both Animes are heading towards the direction of the nationals tournament for their respective clubs.

Both have boys with similar aesthetic forming a group and the dynamics behind that. Them having to work together to produce stage results for a crowd where they have to look good. I feel like the art and pacing are similar.

Even though both are incredibly new so far (12/7/16) they both have a protagonist that hasn't experienced the sport yet and a companion that is either very experienced or ready to drag them along for the ride.

If you like the theme of college teams that start up and follow the growth of both the team and it's members than either series is a win. Cheer Danshi is similar to Kaze ga Tsuyoku in quite a few ways honestly; both teams have a member with a dream he isn't sure he can manage, both have an injury and troubled members that they have to pursue for a bit before they join. It's a roller coaster from start to end for both.
