A collection of my favorite Isekai series.

Animes which had more humour than I expected.

Animes in which I was patient and trusted the anime in the beginning, and it paid off.

This list will include the main characters of the anime who are awesome is every way or focusing on one tactic that makes MC chad in the anime

Strength, intelligence, wittiness etc. Even if it looks like that they are in a tight spot instantly they can make a comeback.

(I will not include the seasons of the same anime to keep it short and to ignore the repeats.I will keep the list up to date)

NOT a 100% pure comedy anime list
Im not going to put all seasons of the same anime on here. If the first season is on, i will apply the rec for alle the following seasons.

Movies and shows with less than usual runtime or number of episodes.

Isekai is a genre about traveling to another world (setting), most commonly without the ability to return back.

This is not exhaustive collection of titles that have isekai wibes, it's just my collection of essential titles I would recommend to anybody who will ask me for recommendations.

This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious).

This inhumanly derivative, formulaic, escapist, consumerist and incestuous genre is one of my guilty pleasures, and in my journey through it I have found some good stuff. Here are shows which either execute the classic isekai tropes well and simply have quality, or shows that may not be the best, but which at least have an interesting execution of the isekai concept that subverts expectations or at least isn't so derivative, generic or mediocre as others.

Includes inverse isekai shows (fantasy world character going to Earth) and anime that almost nobody counts as isekai, as they don't fit into the fantasy RPG setting, but technically are isekai, in the literal sense of the term.
