New Interest Stack
Interest StacksComedy centered anime that will make you laugh, and allow you to proudly say, THIS IS COMEDY, without the sarcasm. The point of this stack is how these shows main purpose is to make you laugh, whether it succeeds or not. Some dose of light drama and laid-back romance. No love triangles. No depressing scenes. No annoying misunderstandings. Shows with romantic elements which weren't created by sadistic douchebag authors who for some reason kills off the love interest by the end of the story. May include titles that's ongoing airing or on hiatus but have finished source materials. Ambiguous/open endings don't count. Only the first season of every show is represented. Multiple endings/choices count as long as there exists at least one happy conclusion. Also may include ongoing romcoms because they will most definitely never end in tears. No L,G,B,T,Q,GS,TRAP,HEN,NTR,FJS,FEMBOI, only H. This list is from my personal point of view and thus strictly referential. You heard it, these anime will literally make your heart dokidoki!!!--- from wholesomeness to complete sweet vanilla love story to rage between clashes of different ships everyone is trying to root for! ٩(ఠ益ఠ)۶ This stack is for Nisekoi-type anime, abstractly named after a (in)famous romantic comedy where the characters are forced to accept a arranged engagement and artificial relationship in general. Such shows are usually based on a very characteristic premise, where a guy and a girl, less often other combinations, are forced to be together due to a forced engagement or a fake relationship, but subsequently fall in love with each other for real (not necessarily at the same time). Additional drama is also possible where the characters are already in love with someone else and/or are forced to maintain that relationship due to circumstances. These anime have no time to lose and try to cram the most they can in the least amount of time possible, maybe forgetting one detail or two among the way. Blink and you miss it. Secondary effects might include: Feeling like you watched more chapters than you actually watched. Shows with Harem tag on it, however it turns out it's not really 'Harem'. Anime that you can watch without having to worry about paying too much attention. Mostly slice of life/episodic anime. It may look like a harem and smell like a harem, but it's not a true harem. Anime with harem elements that lack the qualifications of being full harem anime instead have harem subtext, the topic of this stack. This was partly inspired by the romantic subtext tag, but also the fact that there are many anime out there that may have harems in them, but aren't true harem series. This can often be because the protagonist simply chooses one girl early on and the rest of the 'harem' is left with unrequited love, or perhaps the protagonist has no feelings for any of the girls. Whatever the case may be, the story clearly does not treat enough of the girls as having a serious shot at the protagonist's heart for it to be a true harem series. Tired of the Slice of Life genre being filled to the brim with these boring ass moe girl shows that don't DARE to go above and beyond with their comedy? Here's a list "curated" (thrown together haphazardly) by me of some goofy ass stuff that will make you laugh if you have the same wack ass sense of humour that I do. |
