This stack is for Nisekoi-type anime, abstractly named after a (in)famous romantic comedy where the characters are forced to accept a arranged engagement and artificial relationship in general. Such shows are usually based on a very characteristic premise, where a guy and a girl, less often other combinations, are forced to be together due to a forced engagement or a fake relationship, but subsequently fall in love with each other for real (not necessarily at the same time). Additional drama is also possible where the characters are already in love with someone else and/or are forced to maintain that relationship due to circumstances.

Some of these shows problematically idealize organized relationships (usually because of the idea of ​​easily getting interesting pairing or fantasizing about the perfect bride with no extra effort), some deconstruct or add something that reveals the character's developed genuine romantic reciprocity. Some, on the contrary, even normalize it, but fortunately such shows are in the minority and even they try to somehow justify this in the eyes of people.

Separately, I want to note that not all of these shows contain this subplot or arc in the first or already released seasons. So keep that in mind when you see shows in the stack that you've never heard of in this context. Also, this stack doesn't include anime with forced engagement that don't include the center couple in it, or are clearly shown it in a judgmental way.

Love it's there whenever you less expecting

These anime have no time to lose and try to cram the most they can in the least amount of time possible, maybe forgetting one detail or two among the way. Blink and you miss it. Secondary effects might include: Feeling like you watched more chapters than you actually watched.

Anime that you can watch without having to worry about paying too much attention. Mostly slice of life/episodic anime.

I obviously haven't watched every single 'non-complex' anime, and some entries are from what I've heard of from the anime, so if you think there's something that should be added here or something should be removed, message me.

Here's a list "curated" (thrown together haphazardly) by me of some goofy ass stuff that will make you laugh if you have the same wack ass sense of humour that I do.

Will continuously update as I find more that fits the "genre". Note that this doesn't encompass all slapstick and/or situational comedy, just stuff that has characters with half a brain. In a funny way.
