How is this similar with SH? Well it's simple, when I first watched EschaLogy's first episode it made me feel I was playing a videogame and that's the same feeling you get when you watch SH. Digging deeper you'll find that these two series also share a similar RPG action/fantasy story that develops in an old village.

The lovelyness are the same with magical creatures and actions with slice of humor, only that Earl and Fairy has a slice of romance between two characters but who knows what Shining Hearts will have lest's watch ^^

Both are set in an alternate world and are concerned with the protection of that world. They also share a likeness in having a cool, relaxing atmosphere with snippets of action added in.

Pan de Peace and Shining Hearts are both anime about bread. While Pan de Peace is more slice of life/school, Shining Hearts is more of a fantasy anime

Both of these are a horribly dull. If you liked one you may also like the other.

Harem style series that are based off of games. Additionally, both series contain: - fan-service - fantasy like setting - action - both series has a fixed plot - somewhat cynical protagonists

A young man finds himself babysitting another high school classmate who happens to live in the same building as him. He's also trying to appear to have a normal life and not let the crazies drag down his reputation, so to speak.

Based on a popular JRPG. Star Ocean franchise. The story of SH and SO both involve an amnesiac person in some way. In SO, our main hero must find a way back to his own world but also prevent this world's destruction. Along the way he meets companions who joins his quest.

Both series come from their popular JRPG. The story and characters are very similar. A civil war between countries occurs and the world is going be destroyed. Our heroes set out on a grand adventure to prevent it from happening. I also recommend other Tales of series: Symphonia, Eternia, Vesperia, and Phantasia.

Both Anime have "different worlds" In Ar Tonelico the worlds consist of islands floating in the sky, while in Shining Hearts it is your typical "different world" and crossing dimension scenario. The art work in both are very detailed.
