An excellent song and video. It's a great and catchy song in both versions. I hope they make another a sequel OVA or a (Better) anime series of BRS.

Hatsune Miku strikes again, but not with a leek; a music video, albeit with a darker and more ominous sort of tone. I've always loved Miku; that's actually how I was introduced into the world of animated characters and such. The strange, mellifluous flowing of Miku's electronic voice always appealed to me, and here it sounded strangely lucid and creepy. Since this technically isn't an anime and simply the precursor to the OVA and the new show itself, this review isn't going to be long.

Story: Sounds depressing. Miku really belts out a sad lament. That's really it.

Black Rock Shooter is my favorite song in the Supercell album, a classic Vocaloid album that all fans of the genre should listen to. Despite being recorded less than 10 months after Hatsune Miku's original release, Miku's voice is used to great effect. Between the voice, music, lyrics, and Huke's character designs, Black Rock Shooter is still the coolest Vocaloid song I have yet encountered.

The song itself is about someone who has lost their way in life. They reminisce on the enjoyable parts of life they felt in the past, but feel trapped in their current position. Eventually, they realize that their life won't get ...
