New Interest Stack
Interest StacksJust some cool anime to binge on halloween night (or any other day)♥ These are good series with this spooky vibe (not all of them are scary!) This list was created for anyone interested in seeing something terrifying. There is from the low to high level of horror here, chose for u self. Series made by (former) SHAFT staff that bear the aesthetic influence of SHAFT and Akiyuki Shinbo, but are produced at a different studio. Some shows that give me this vague indescribable feeling. Sort of comforting, sort of not. Kind of emptyish maybe? There is just no way to say it accurately. No particular genres but they somehow have something in common. Lmk if you guys get what I mean. I'll add more once I find more. Idek what tags to put so I'll put none :) I am a big fan of slice of life shows cuz they are nice and soothing to watch. I have listed my favourite ones, so you all can check them out if you haven't already. Just a list of anime with examples of close-to-abysmal parents/parenting. Some are not blood-related but are still considered parents or parents through adoption. All of them have in some way, shape, or form messed up the central character/major characters in these anime. Anime that feels like Midwest Emo, Midwest emo is a sub-genre of Emo involving very emotional and sentimental lyrics and lyrics that typically contain a nostalgic nature (Ex.American Football, The Brave Little Abacus, Home is Where, Marietta, Etc). Main-main MC unless there are 2 or more who equally share the spotlight. Will not add (yet) those I'm not certain of Shounen doesn't involve romance. I've seen quite a few Anime fans who use this argument to dismiss discussions of who the main protagonist in a Shounen work will end up with. The problem is, instead of being an accurate statement, the statement instead is a red flag to those of us who've seen quite a bit of Anime. We know that person isn't as familiar with the Shounen demographic (not genre) as they think they are, but the intent of this list is to help others better familiarize themselves with the genre. Not all Shounen series have a male as their main protagonist, whether it be that they are the singular main protagonist or there be other mains including males in the series. Even if it's not a horror some anime can get terrifying. Despite most horror anime not being scary. Gore and other stuff that is portrayed in a way that makes you feel physically sick in a horror context works as well. These are animes that have main characters that have both black hair and red eyes, this also includes characters that turns their eyes red. |
