This is a pretty unique Anime that's supposed to be bad. If you have been following the two previous shows in the "m.o.e." trilogy, "Hit wo Nerae" and "Love Love", this show and its quality makes perfectly sense. "Love Love" focused on the cameraman and the actual production of this show, while "Hit wo Nerae" took you into the shoes of the director. At last, "Chou Henshin Cosprayers" is the result of everything that happened in the two previous shows: A Power Rangers-like kids Anime gone horribly wrong.

The story is very simple: A group of magical, transforming girls are fighting to bring back peace ...

I went into Cosprayers with pretty low expectations. Looking at the stupid pun for the title, and the moe artstyle as the cover image, I didn't think there was any way it could be even somewhat good. Well, I was proven wrong. The show manages to be pretty entertaining, despite it's shortcomings, and by the end leaves you feeling pretty satisfied. Let's go over all of it's different parts.

Preliminary (5/8 eps)
it wasn't good at all, i had high expectations thinking that it takes a main normal life subject like cosplaying and make it into something that would look great with the magical girl plot but i was wrong, the girls expect of the annoying main character who gets her powers not by courage but just like that by calling her trash, its seriously stupid. there is really little development and the panty shots are just feel dropped just like that it's not even entertaining its just stupid and wont cover up for the bad plot writing trust me.

the voice acting was nice except of the ...

Mixed Feelings
When I first watched Cosprayers, I hated it. The characters were vapid, the plot was incoherent, and above all, it was remarkably uninteresting. It's no wonder why this show has such a low score.

Then, I watched Love Love and Smash Hit, and everything made sense. I no longer hate Cosprayers, but instead, respect it with what it had to offer.

Cosprayers is one-third of the m.o.e. trilogy, along with the aforementioned Love Love and Smash Hit. These three shows aim to tell a coherent story about an animation studio creating a mahou shoujo anime against all odds, with Love Love and Smash Hit following the show's ...
