Synopsis

Rentarou Aijou has it all: looks, intelligence, athletic skill, and popularity with peers and mentors alike. Unfortunately, none of these qualities help Rentarou with his love life. On the day of his middle school graduation, he is once again turned down by a girl he confesses to, earning his one-hundredth rejection in a row. Down on his luck, he goes to a matchmaking shrine and wishes to finally get a girlfriend in high school.

When the god of the shrine suddenly appears before him, Rentarou is told he will meet an astronomical total of one hundred soulmates in high school. Though Rentarou initially does not take this foretelling seriously, his doubts disappear when, on the first day of school, he meets two of these soulmates—Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda—who both confess to him. With fated encounters and love confessions galore, Rentarou's life is about to get a lot more exciting.

100 Girlfriends Who REALLY Love You - This is it; we've officially hit PEAK Trash Harem Rom-com, the likes of which we have not seen since time millenia, in the most flawless and outlandish way ever done possible.

For all of what the AniManga industry has to offer since its humble beginnings decades ago, only one genre stands out the most due to its consistent relevancy: the romance genre, which comes in a lot of flavours for everyone's enjoyment. And seemingly, one of the most popular themes from that genre would come to define the next level of enjoyment: harem. Sure, you have the obvious ones, ...

Mixed Feelings
This show was hugely overhyped and really not that funny.

This type of show is usually right up my ally but in all honestly it was below average. The gags were stale and the jokes mostly fell flat. It couldn't hold a candle to other romcoms this season such Girlfriend X3
It had its moments and I finished it, but honestly my time could have been spent on other anime which would have provided me more enjoyment. I will probably watch season 2 in the hopes that it improves.

Animation quality was good, Characters were pretty much a re-hash of many typical tropes. The ...

Romcom is dead. That’s it. That’s my review.

Now, seriously, Kimi no Koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo is probably one of the worst romcoms in recent memory. The word “romcom” originates from combining the words “romantic” and “comedy”, so, here we have a romcom that is neither funny nor has romance, fundamentally failing at the most basic level of the genre.

I have always found a problem with romcoms and that is a reason why, even though I like some of them, they are always flawed in one way or another, as usually girls will fall in love with a guy ...
