| Finally the Loid storyline continues. Enjoyable episode that carries forward the plot. Part 2 of the season 1 was a functional show consolidating the format (with arcs unimportant to the story) but lost brightness in comparison to the first part. Max MAL score can i give is 8 |

| What an awesome finale, from Loid playing the spy to Anya being an "stalker" haha. Loid finally came closer to Desmond and even talked to him, now its gonna be interesting to see the continuation. This is the first time i actually envied Damian, he took the courage to talk to his father head on and his father kinda praised him for his hard work. Can't wait for S2! |

| What was truly remarkable in this episode to me, is the glimpse into Damian's heart - seeing the way he pictures Anya. And how he actually wants too to get closer to her, but can't allow himself to be honest with his feelings. |
| Like a lot of people have been saying, this cour was absolutely weaker than the first. Everything that was initially magical about Spy x Family really, really lost its shine for me. There was so much meandering and filler- which I actually would normally be okay with- but it really felt like very little of it actually mattered. Very little of it showed us a new side to a character that we haven't seen before, or gave a character newfound depth. Instead, they just tread the same old ground, and like I've said in other posts about the show- the comedy has really overstayed its welcome, with no new elements to it in sight. And most detrimentally, I sorely missed feeling like the Forgers were a loveable makeshift family unit. Individual characters had highlights this cour, sure, but the familial interactions were what first made me fall in love with Spy x Family. We had glimpses of them here and there, but they weren't a big focus like they were in Part 1. And in my honest opinion, even when those interactions were present, they just didn't land the same here. This episode specifically was definitely an improvement- I loved the exchange between Donovan and Lloid, it was everything I was expecting, and the stakes felt considerably raised there. I probably sound overly harsh on Part 2 overall, but I guess I just wanted more moments like that- moments with weight, moments that felt like they mattered (even if comedic in nature-), and I just didn't get enough of them, this cour. I'm cautiously hoping for better in the future, with the movie and Season 2 officially announced, and all. |

| I like this cour more than the previous one. for some reason, i found myself more engaged throughout the episodes. although i wish there was more focus on Bond. he got sidelined quickly. with enough screen-time he might ends up my favorite character. 8/10 |

| One of the best shows I watched this year, I'm glad it is successful enough to get a season 2 and movie. I enjoyed both cours, even though this one was more lighthearted I still loved it. WIT Studio and Cloverworks did an incredible job, I couldn't have asked for a better adaptation. |

| Phew, this was a fantastic episode. Top notch voice acting, animation, score. I really felt for Damian and his desperate attempt for his fathers love. I actually teared up when his father asked what he wanted. |
| Wow such a good last episode. That interaction between Dezmon and Loid had me on edge. And of course in Spy X Family fashion they made that scene into a really wholesome one. I'm really happy to hear we're getting another season as there really isn't anything like Spy X Family. Its one of a kind and its great to see it doing so well. (Last comic con I went to almost every stall had Spy X Family stuff which I of course bought a lot of lol) |

| he finally gets to meet the guy and does a great job! part of me feels like not much happened this season in plot advancement at least as far as operation strix so this was nice. still it was a very enjoyable ride and i can't wait to see more. however, with a lot of filler and little advancement i might have to give this a 7/10. |

| It felt fitting to end the second half of Spy X Family on an episode that was rather calm, but serious. Loid was able to finally talk to Donovan Desmond at long last and he does live up to his reputation. His planning worked out for him and the two had a good conversation with Damian looking on. After Loid made his farewell after getting as much intel as he could, it was nice to see Damian take a page out of Anya's book and call out to his father to tell him about his progress at school so far, both his achievements and areas where he needs to improve. Although it was short, Donovan did praise his son before making his own leave. You can easily tell how much this meant to Damian when you look at his facial reaction. =) Overall, Spy X Family has been one very fun and exciting ride this year. I do prefer the first half, but this second half has been a joy to watch during the weekends, always making me laugh with ease. Bump Of Chicken's OP for this second half is my favourite OP this season and maybe my top 3 of this year for how much of a happy jam it has been, alongside with some lovely visuals and animation to match it. I do look forward to more Spy X Family in the near future! =D |
| Season 1 of Spy x Family comes to a close with Loid making contact with his target Donovan Desmond thanks to Anya pushing Damien to meet with his father. Of course Loid had to slip past security via disguise and meet Donovan in person. Donovan and Loid had a friendly, but intense conversation with Loid apologizing him for Anya hitting his son. Donovan didn't seem to mind and of course that makes Damien angry. Despite all that Loid maintained his composure and was able to end things with him and Donovan being on a first name basis. Poor Damien was desperately trying to get his father's attention/approval mentioning his accomplishments at Eden College and Donovan seem to acknowledge him even if it was on a whim. Overall I liked Part 2 since it featured new characters like Bond and Fiona and I can't wait for the second season. 8/10. |

| Anya is just the best, I really hope this show brings more cute daughters to anime projects, she is such a wild cards and a free spirit, looking forwards to the rest of the series. |
| An enjoyable season, but this cour was undoubtedly a little weaker than the first, perhaps because we're used to what this show brings at this point. Nice to see Desmond in the finale, gives a sense that things may start to pick up soon. Looking forward to Season 2 and the movie in 2023! |

| Loid is such a masterclass of a spy. Dude infiltrates the school, creates a reason to talk to Damian, and then evaluates the correct things to say to Damian's dad. Not to mention he made the Damian x Anya ship closer. Can't wait for the third season, and the movie. |
| The first official encounter with the big picture target as we end this second half of the first season of what has become something of a global phenomenon. And...I dunno, I kinda get it I just don't really agree with it. Through 25 episodes now I can safely say I do enjoy this series. It is good. It is cute. But it is, in my opinion anyway, not great. It is not even in the top 10 anime I've seen this year. What stood out to me most from this second batch of episodes? I dunno. Yor still largely feels like a non-entity and I actually found myself liking Fiona much more. Anya's still the cute darling and Loid is still the main character. Bond's fine though I felt like his introductory arc could've been shortened by an episode. I dunno, I don't really wanna criticize this too harshly but I'm not left with much to say about it either. It's good. I'll certainly watch the second season if I'm able, but we'll see. 7/10, Happy Holidays everybody. |
| When the last episode is the most important one, oof. We'll wait for next year for something new, overall it might have been slow but at least the latest half was very interesting + it still had nice SoL parts. |
