I like all types of anime, as long as it can keep me interested enough, which doesn't take much :P
As for manga, I recently started reading more online. I used to use MAL to keep track of my collection, but since I'm using another site, my manga section will now include all that I have read :)

It's hard to not let things get to you sometimes. Especially for me.
I have PTSD and it sometimes shows it's head when I'm upset and I tend to lash out at whoever's upsetting me at the time ^^;
I guess it's kinda flight or fight.... so I fight most times.
But I try to take other people's feelings into account when talking to them on the internet... and when sharing opinions about characters and animes.
I like dealing with open minded people.
The people who have closed their minds and opinions to other people's are usually very annoying and frustrating. At least to me ^^

No, I suppose that makes sense, wanting to fight back. But I think that's Tohru's own brand of fighting. She takes things on by going quite the opposite way. If someone bites her hand, she won't bite back-- she'll take their hands in her own and heal whatever scars she finds. I love that disarming positivity she has, where she doesn't need to be aggressive to make a difference.
Because that's how I am. I don't know how to make a point in real life without arguing, fighting, shouting or causing a ruckus. I can't tell you how many busted lips I've got over the years from fights. So I suppose I like girls like Tohru, not hotheaded like myself.
I think she's an extremely strong character.

I don't hate Kobato's lead, I just think she's retarded. I don't hate retards.
And no, it wasn't Kobato who made Kobato unbearable-- it was the CLAMPness, the male lead, and the plodding pace.
Tohru is a ditz but she's not like Kobato who probably needs a helmet and takes her rides on the short bus. Despite Tohru's lack of the more obvious type of intelligence, she makes up for it with genuineness and heart. She also doesn't depend on anyone, but everyone wants to her to depend on them because that's the kind of girl she is-- she's so loving, thoughtful and caring that they WANT her to be a little reliant and dependent on them because they take and get so much from her.
In the beginning, she lives on her own, works on her own, and gets by just fine until the Sohma family takes her into their home. Even then, she still never relies on them, and ends up healing them all and saving them from themselves whether inadvertently or directly. And as emo as the series tends to get, her tragedies are just all the more bittersweet since she smiles through it. She's a girl who savours life, and for that, I can fall in love with a character like that. Innocence and ignorance pretty much go hand in hand, but she grows (and reading 14 volumes of Furuba will show you that much). She never stops being a helper, never stops smiling, but she learns a lot of harsh lessons about the world around her.
We can sympathise with her because she knows what it means to be lonely and alienated. I think that's why the whole thing was called "Fruits Basket". Ever Sohma was a riceball and the world was their basket of fruit, and when Tohru showed up, she could understand them and love them because she was a riceball too, amongst them and the world itself as well.
I did give FB 10/10 and it's largely because of Tohru. She's even a favourited character of mine. I tend to like tough girls, clever ones, cruel ones or badasses, but Tohru made my heart bend and break for her.
Kobato lacks charm. The only thing she has going for her is her clothes and her seiyuu, and I love both.
If I'm inconsistent with my ratings and preferences, it's because I adhere to the explanation of "What I liked yesterday is not what I like today, and what I like today is not what I will like tomorrow." Fickle? Probably. I just like enjoying what I want to enjoy.

Sorry if I didn't seem to be making a lot of sense in The Noble Heroines club, Joanna. I wasn't trying to be deliberately thick.
I just wanted you to know that. And I also wasn’t trying ti insult Rukia, even though it probably seemed like that.

Found translation for Kaito Saint Tail.
http://mangahelpers.com/t/mhaellix/archives/
Not scanlation, but translated by someone.
The person states "hope to release one chapter per week", so they will probably finish the whole manga.

My pleasure. As long as a club has Lenalee Lee and/or Rukia Kuchiki, I'm in it! Thanks for accepting my request anyway ^^.
