If you liked the Swimming Anime CM then you'll probably like Tsuritama (vice versa as well). They both involve boys getting in/near/around the water. Well in the Swimming Anime CM only one boy is actually shown in the water but that's practically good enough. And both shows emphasis male friendships.

Romance comedies with a lot of girls after one boy. Oh, Kampfer character appear in the background of episode three of Asobi ni Iku Yo. What?

Kids doing daily regular stuff, but still manages to be funny. Both animes have that same slice of life feel.

Studio Deen animated both of them. And they both beat around the bush in the beginning, but progress as the anime goes on. Oh yeah, and they both have a bunch of bishonens.

Animation style is very similar and the character cast resemble each other. (They both have pink and blue haired color girls in each anime.)

Well, their both about girls finding their first love and stuff. And JCStaff produced Kimikiss and Hatsukoi, so they both have similar animation styles.

I love J.C. Staff and Index is just like Shana without the tsundereness. Character designs are very similar in these two animes. It's just more J.C. Staff goodness. Can't get enough of J.C. Staff.
