Oh thanks.
As for the artwork, I just found it pretty generic similar to some of the other modern school life series I've seen. Other than that, the artwork is alright. Thanks for reading my review though :>

Saw your post on Xinil's page. Seems like it's possible. I added March Rabbit and something else and now they're gone :(

Yeah, the ratings are a good but not an absolute indicator. As for Gurren Lagann, you should watch it with your mental faculties shut off. =P It's the one you can derive pleasure from by watching it from an individual level (what are the characters likely to do, given their traits?) rather than from an intellectual level (what is the logically correct thing they should do?). It's good for random stress-busting action.

Great; I've downloaded it. I'll be watching it soon! By the way, I happened to notice Gurren Lagann in your 'Dropped' list. 0.o That's kind of surprising since many people I know liked it. What kind of anime do you like?

By the way, you should really watch The World Only God Knows (especially the second season). The central character is a pretty huge bond. =D I was able to relate on multiple levels to him. He is a brilliant gamer who is forced to apply his gaming fundae in real life (which he thoroughly detests, at the start of the series). The series is open ended but the parts in the middle are too well executed to miss. =D Incidentally, he is the character on my display picture here.

And did you know, I watched Code Geass during my 3rd semester midsems to keep me awake during the night for study. It started with 20 minute study sessions followed by 20 minutes of anime break. It soon progressed to 40 minute anime sessions with study breaks in the middle and finally to pure anime sessions. =D They are a really great stress buster. The funny ones are ridiculously effective during exams. =D
Season 1 of Black Lagoon was somewhat disappointing. =/ I mean, it started off great and progressed briskly (I enjoyed it) but I really didn't like the open way in which the series ended. I haven't watched the second season yet, though. A similar anime (in that it ended on a open, disappointing note) was Hellsing. =/ Open endings, IMO, are the greatest killers of great expectation.

On a related point, I'd like to know, are there any anime that pushed you to the limits of an emotion? Like, to the limits of having your mind blown, feeling the pain of the characters, feeling a hollowness in yourself because of a sacrifice done by a character, etc.? I mean, it doesn't have to be the entire series, it could just be a few excellently executed scenes of some anime. There are quite a few good anime which belong to that category for me - Code Geass, Angel Beats, Clannad, Eden of the East, Gurren Lagann, Katanagatari, Death Note and FMA are some which I now remember to have firmly gripped me in their most emotional/awesome scenes. =)

Hey! Did you watch any new animé of late? I watched FMA Brotherhood, Angel Beats, Clannad and Kanon in the past few days. After Angel Beats and the Fate series (both of which I really liked) I became interested in animé derived from visual novels. So, I'm now on to watching Clannad After Story during the midsems. =P I'm liking the serene pace of the series.
