About myself...

Well, im a mexican boy with a german father and a columbian mother. Am currently living in Mexico City after living a year in Berlin. I failed the two semesters there in my physics career and didnt get much from life there. It was there that I discovered this page, found it while i was in my cavern where my only source of life came from food and anime.
I had another "About me" text here and i finally decided to see it as patetico and thus, deleted it. I am, however, confronted with its puny style again whenever I try to write about the more existential, subjective or even magical aspects of my life. Like for example, i dont know how to make it sound serious, poetical or even mysterious and not pathetic or funny to tell you that, while I was surfing in the internet and working on my list and profile, some kind of philia for the tanatos started to resurrect in me.(well that sounds better... i think) I had always been fond of vampires when I was a kid, but this new tendency was filled with ideas of the digital world and appeared to me as a fatalistic trait of my person in the world. I honestly suffered because of being almost sure that I sucked life out of every person who got a little close to me in emotional terms. And whenever I brought myself to ask about that, people would tell me they didnt feel that at all. Yeah, that was kind of my constant dilemma there, i still get some ideas like that here.. but life is different in mexico city.

So well, Anime (so my thoughts) would be like some fake blood to me. Think about it... what better term to suggest that than "slice-of-life". I wasn`t very much into anime at that time, but had begun to develop an interest for the psychological part of the epics like Evangelion or Wolfs Rain. When i found Haruhi Suzumiya i was shaken with just how entertaining the chatter could be. While i watched LuckyStar , which was like the peak of that discovery, i learned about that term slice-of-life. I think I laughed to myself cynically at that time, but was to happy about how funny the series was to let that get me down.

Now i dont have a fast internet connection and have some sort of a life here... those boring things like taking studies seriously, going to parties more as a routine than because of a whim, trying to engage in normal conversations (I still suck at that) and such. But from time to time i get a longing for a fantasy world or for fake blood.. i am not sure if im a vampire or not anymore... But i guess both ways Ill still like anime.

Hey. ^^; Please bear with me here, it's been several months since I last seen Kaiba. My memory is a bit sketchy. Episode 10 was a favorite of mine too. I liked the scene where Kaiba and Neiro got a bit tipsy and were rolling around on the bed. It seemed incredibly human despite the artwork being anything but realistic. As for episode 11, that was like daaang. Poor Popo lost his childhood friend, his mom and his own life XD (except you find out that they didn't 'die' in the last episode). I'll have to agree with what you said about the romance and psychological aspects being great though.
Hmm.. with the exception of Revolutionary Girl Utena, no. Masterpieces don't show up nearly enough but I am enjoying watching Xam'd Lost Memories right now. It's by studio bones and has a similar feel to Eureka Seven. I've been so so.. the spring semester at school just started for me so I'm fairly busy with things. I LOVE the beach, I wish I lived by one haha. It sounds really nice right now since it's veery cold here. Plus all the snow..urgh. Can it be spring already? DX In any case, I hope things are going good for you. ciao.
