I am a failed physics student emulating the hikikomori life because i don't even have the necessary courage to become one myself... I am really interested in it (physics that is).... but my social skills suck.. I am getting nervous just for writing this and also i've been looking in the web for smileys to express myself... just pitiful (smiley here)
I am also interested in philosophy and a way to see the magic in the most important aspects of life... Anime is my fuel for such things but it really distorts my moral conceptions... Thats why my real self is some kind of monster to me....
I was trapped into the webs of anime when i first met Rei Ayanami and Keitaro from Love Hina... The perfect anonymous lover and the stupid guy that is loved just because of who he is...
Anyway.. i was in love with Rei, so my pc pretty much became Rei: Background, startup-screen, default sounds, menus, lots of pics. But it only lasted till it was platonical.. when i watched rei hentai i had already gotten over it (is this correct?!?!?) And i always wanted figurines or posters but I was too closed up to have money or bring myself to do it.
Love Hina was in books so the best way to feel that I was close to the characters was to bite the books... jejeje. Hai! Bite the books and let all my happiness and anxiety get into that bite.. those were such beautiful times...
Now, after watching Naruto like crazy, I've become an anime addict and am looking for every possible ramification of the stereotypes we already know... And when times get good i like to watch epics and "deep" animes, even though i cant discuss them with my proto-philospher friend cos my world is too messed up.
Well, i never understand why people get bored when reading biographies but i guess ill leave at this...

It's nice to have you back! I missed you so but I figured visiting an Anime site would be the last thing on your mind during your trip. Which makes me even more envious but school is coming up for me in a little more than a week so it's all good. I can't wait to go back. ^^

Mm.. I can almost smell the things you described. haha We have peach, apple, and aprocat trees here. Although the peach never does well because of the deserty climate in Utah.
I had plans for Berlin before but I'll definitely have to check that out before I die. Do you know of any beautiful gothic cathedrals or art museums there? Since those are the kind of things I most long to see XD
I think I'll go on an art history trip. See england, france, italy, etc all in the space of a month. I almost went this summer but one of my friends is getting married so I cant miss that.
Oh, I remember that scene. Ayu start crying when Miwako brought up the topic of fragrant olives. Funny how we associate certain memories and things with smells. I love the smell of freshly mowed grass, lilacs (we have several bushes in our back yard, they are absolutely gorgeous in bloom), rain, baby lotion and horses. What are yours? XD
Germany sounds nice. I'm thinking of studying abroad next summer in France, I'm not sure though.
