yeah the series just ran out of time and money for a tv anime budget, however we did get the vanquished queens ova that tells the story of what happened between the original and rebellion, how leina got narcolepsy, how tomoe got blind and how risty got muscle atrophy due to the swamp witch's curse and the two alternative reboots grimoire and unlimited.

It took such a massive L that it single-handedly killed the franchise.

Yeah I get that, I got spoiled pretty bad and just decided to read ahead to avoid spoilers lol. I’m sure you have Seen the controversy with the ending and all not the spoilers but people saying it’s good / bad have you ?
