I'm Anastasia. I like anime and manga, obviously. Along with music, nature, writing and arts of all sorts.

I really like talking to people, but I feel like I come off as awkward. So if I seem a little odd, then sorry. I'm always worried about sounding like a cunt for some reason. And in my opinion, talking to people online is more difficult than in person 'cause joking tones and such don't translate and some things just start sounding...bad.

and PS; I rate anime/manga based on how much I enjoyed it, and not necessarily how great the quality actually is. In my opinion, enjoyment does not always equate with the quality of a work. I can enjoy something while knowing it isn't technically a good work of art. If that makes any sense.

I rate on enjoyment too but it's only part of my rating, otherwise I would loose track of what I want to recommend ;D

Yeah there`s not too many of us who prefer manga but that just means we`re that much cooler... not! ^^;
hehehe

And we have quite a bit of titles in common missy ;3
We both loved Mars <3, Bus Hashiru <3, Kon ki Konoha, Nanairo Sekai, Hana to Akuma and vampire knight ^^

Although... you seem to generally give better ratings then I do :p
I`m such a hard critic xD

Here are 2 recs for you:
1 - Yuru Koi - only 5 chapters and not a very deep story but somehow, I felt the charcaters come to life on the pages... very well done.
2- Dengeki Daiy - the strenght of this shojo is without a doubt Teru. She`s not your typical shojo lead character, but it takes a few chapter to get to know her.
