I'm watching ergo proxy myself so i can't give any good advice on that until I finish it myself as for texhnolyze it's slow pace gritty atmosphere anime and some people find it boring for that reason if you don't have problem with that then you can watch it, you actually watched monster anime and liked it then i don't think it'll be a problem
