Sorry for the late reply, haven't spent much time on here recently...
That is an interesting interview, thanks for pointing it out. Y' see, I still find Miyazaki's films fascinating even though they're not aimed at me. They seem to be so much more well thought out (and be a lot more thought provoking even for the younger audience they are aimed at) than most entertainment for youngsters these days. I'm someone who believes you should seperate the man from the art as much as possible - No matter what he personally thinks, I view his films as seperate to him as an individual. And I think it's the positive characters which are almost more important in his films than the stories themselves. As Miyazaki himself says, he doesn't share his pessimism through his work as he doesn't want to burden others with it (especially children) and I can understand this point of view. They still definately have messages in there for adults as well, mainly relating I think to their treatment and view of children.

Hmm, you've started Macross there I see. How're you finding it? I want to start it as well (I've wanted to see it for ages) but I've Last Exile to finish first.
You don't seem to be an easy goose to please. Spirited Away, five out of ten Sir? Why the animation alone warrants higher than that!

Well its something i've grown used to and i prefer it a bit more now as well. I don't need as much sleep now really so i can stay up longer before i need to get sleep.

It's understandable. I try to pace myself too, so as to not get burned out on anime.

Hey there Zin5ki!
This surely is a first. There's someone here who's watched less anime than me, heh heh.

A couple of years back, I'd pass the time I had before classes began by sitting on a bench beside a pond in a municipal park.
The Canada geese were always there in some number throughout the year. It was always pleasant to watch their behavior amongst each other; they'd graze, squabble and practice migratory flying as if they hadn't a care in the world.
Although they were often aggressive, I seemed to bond with them- if nothing else they were more quirky than the greylags.

Okay...So now I get to ask you "What's with the darn Canada geese?". You have them as your avatar on ANN-FF and ANN.
