During my parochial school days, I've always been addressed as Taylor Tertius (especially in the company of my older siblings) and since then I have often used that moniker as my online identity. It's not a very imaginative name, but it succinctly, at least superficially, describes me. I am, the third male child of my family and since I have five other siblings, I have also the dubious pleasure along with my womb-mate (Taylor Quartus) of suffering from "middle child syndrome".

I have been watching anime, before I even knew what it was. I grew up watching my father's video cassettes of classic anime and my older siblings' collection of eighties anime. I, myself, am ashamed to admit that I was caught in the Poke/Digi/whatever-mon craze that hit North America in the nineties. I remember spending an obscene amount of money satisfying that crave. It wasn't until mid-season of Digimon Tamers that I lost interest in animation in general.

It wasn't until high school that I discovered that most of my favourite cartoons from my childhood were anime all along. There was an anime club that I was invited to join, but at that time I didn't appreciate the complexity that anime had to offer and dismissed it as a childish fancy that I've outgrown. It was, in retrospect, a shame that I didn't join and too narrow-minded to know the difference, because they were such a good group of blokes. I think I might have enjoyed my high school life more too, instead of the four-year period of tedium interrupted sporadically with light moments of Hell that it was.

It wasn't until recently (April 2007) that I rediscovered the wonder that is anime. I was finally finished my finals and was wondering what I would do for the rest of the summer when I interrupted my flatmate watching Hikaru no Go on his laptop. Intrigued, I watched a couple of episodes and was instantly hooked. It is, how they say, trickled from that point.

In the days that followed, I found myself borrowing my flatmate's copy of Hikaru no Go and watched it nearly non-stop (with me ending up burning a copy for myself). Within weeks, I found myself purchasing the manga and from there I made the small leap to Death Note because of the tiniest of connections (Takeshi Obata) and it was from that point where my anime/manga love affair exploded. Months later, I found myself watching and duplicating nearly the entirety of my flatmate's collection and started to watch/download anime independently. Hence the obscenely long list of anime I've watched since the summer.

Finding this site is a real blessing and it is in my hopes that I would make many friends who share similar interests and a certain degree of fanaticism when it comes to anime. :P

chichiriNoDa | 10-08-08, 10:55 PM Hello mate sorry for this late reply. I just took my time replying so that I can reply to your comment all good. It's my day-off from work tomorrow! LOL same here! Nothing is much more annoying and heartbroken so to speak, if you go to bookstore and will find out that your supposedly manga volumes are delayed. Or even you can't find them! I always have this experience since the only bookstore I go to is Barnes and Nble and they only have few series not unlike Borders.... Yeah having a good ending can be bad but good as well. It often would make everyone happy cause they'll be the one who would decide what ending should it be like. Since the 3 main guys were all good man it's alright for me whoever she chooses. But in my opinion I would vote her childhood friend or her new friend (the gray dude). So yeah for me it's all good. Oh so you really did graduate early! Yeah I should quite procrastinating and start working diligent and studious. How old are you when you enter college then? Yeah for us we are just a much simple individual. But for woman we are also a mystery. But I much more think that women are more complicated than us blokes. I love Chocolates! I love eating Lindt Chocolate, Kisses, Hershey, Nestle Crunch and Bunch and Choxie. I used to drink coffee everyday when I was elementary LOL. We drink coffee every single morning before we go to school. Yeah LOL it's ok that you spend a good amount on something you like since you guys have limited needs and wants. Yes LOL you are so right about what you've heard! My cousin also knew that working in Food Industries are one of the worst or extremely hard jobs there is. HAHA I think it's because you guys need to do everything then there are also those mean and demanding costumers. Yeah on my second day I didn;t felt anything I felt just my normal self. But on my first day I was feeling a tad bad (like a fever) and my legs felt it's sick haha. I was so exhausted! LOL haha I graduated out of school last June so at the moment I am not attending school. I did not planned to go to college. Sorry for the confusion mate. Yeah I am a fulltime there I have one day off ( a week) and six hours a day. I'm glad to hear that you have had a nice wonderful and fun birthday! LOL I want some chocolate haha. Man you;ve seen 700 series it's unbelievable! So you turned 20! How's life so far? LOL "nightly adult toys" haha.... Well I hope you are doing good and hope to hear from you soon! I've been to many forums and I always write short stuff. I love reading, but I'm bad at writing. Thats why if you looked at my profile you'll notice I haven't written any reviews and probably never will. xD BTW, I'm never satisfied when I'm creating or working on something, so my profile keeps changing. You'll notice that the more we talk. I see lots of members on this forum that have really nice profiles. I get envious of those as well. *lol* Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday. Wonder how you guys doing stuff doing Thansgiving time =) That's nice that you are close to your family too. I won't be able to sit here and talk with you if it wasn't from my family's help and support. They are the most important thing to me XD. Anime/manga will be second and then football =) Yeah, thanks for you optimistic about my fotune telling. I'll do my daily normal routine thing and let thing be. When the time comes then it will come. I don't' have to force it. However, I still have to push and seek opputunity as well. I love to play football too. However, my leg is never the same again. I don't think I can play 100% like I used to be after I twist my knee T__T. Oh well, I will still play once a while just for fun though. Watching football game is pretty enterain to me too. I will get up like 4 am to just watch the game if I have to XD. Only for Man Utd's game though since I'm pretty big fan of Man Utd. Haha, thanks for your concern, man. The reason that Kagami beat Tomoyo is because Lucky Star OVA just release and if you have watched it you will know why XD. Kagami was extremely moe in that OVA. Also, there are other websites that support Lucky Star characters so that's why Kagami got a lot of votes and majority of Lucky Star characters are in the final round. To me, my top 5 favorite female characters are almost irriplaceable for me. It will be so hard to find any character that will replace these 5 characters. However, you may wonder why Rei is my #1 favorite even though she is not moe at all. Well, you just have to see Evangelion =) Omg, you never watch Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha before ?? You should watch it for a sake of Fate XD. Then you will see why she is the goddess of all moe =) Beside that, how do you like Bitter Virgin manga. I thought the series develop really well. The only two things that I don't like are the artwork and the ending. Wow, 8.94 for Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou manga ?? Is it really that good ? Oh crap, I got to go now. Bento | 10-06-08, 1:45 PM im not sure if its a good or bad thing that you always think about me when it involves food haha either way thats pretty funny :D wow wow wow am i jealous of you :D your birthday sounds like it was quite an event, im really happy for you and gratz on all your gifts your so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends. i wish you the best with your girl and your long weekend ;) my birthday is coming up soon but i doubt it will be anything big, im super busy getting my portfolio together so i cant graduate in december (its required in order to graduate) and the panel that grades them are really hard to impress so i have heard from some of my other friends, so im going to be working on that for the next 3 months and if everything goes according to plan i will be a college graduate come christmas. holy cow i never noticed you had so many anime on your list, congrats on the 700th thats quite a mark haha. were do you find the time to watch all that between everything you do. sounds like you are always busy with something lol. oh and your workout WOW 9.3 miles you sir are pretty damn epic!! i dont think i could even run a mile x_x a jock/otaku your a walking oxymoron haha and that make you all the more awesome! well in any case i hope you are doing well and enjoying your life as a 20 year old :D be safe good friend. Kizuna | 10-06-08, 10:11 AM It's good to know that you've had a great celebration on your birthday. :) I had a 3 day weekend because this is Monday today, but our school had those teacher meetings. I had blast in my birthday because my family, a close friend, and I dined into a nice Mexican restaurant 8 blocks away from our house. Other eating nachos and sizzling steak/shrimp, it's pretty dull, I should say.( Before we went out, my close friend and I waited for my parents to arrive, and we we're just watching youtube-related songs. xD ) I was wondering why every celebration consisted of only going out and eat...By the way, I had received a Classic iPod for my birthday while my sister got a Nintendo DS Lite. xD Yes, with that device, I could download any songs/videos, then delete them in my hard drive, but not affecting the songs because of its "save option" for MP3 files. :] Why would you want to run in your birthday? You should chill. ^_^ Amazing achievement of completing 700 and more anime ! Your dedication is really great. I have yet to finish the anime called Monster, but it would probably take me a year to complete that. :P I suppose you tested those toys last night? xD You have a thoughtful girlfriend. Is she into anime/manga too? As for my relatives, they lived far away, the only gifts that I received are bracelet/letters and the iPOD. D: But I actually envy your presents. It's great to be an adult, isn't it? :D Yeah, everytime I log in after school, you seemed to log out every 2 hours. Since I have no school this Monday, I can have time for manga reading. Yakamachi | 10-06-08, 4:55 AM Damn! I missed your birthday then ;/ Well, it's late but better than nothing: HAPPYYYY BIRTHDAY!!! Did you get some nice presents? :D And yeah, I've been working for 6 weeks straight with no weekend to relax at all.. It's hard, but it sure brings money. No social life though, and I happen to be a social being! xD I'd die if I couldnt go out with my friends and such, so I quit one of my two jobs. Not a big deal really, just means no work in the weekends and I dont have to worry about working 8 + 8 hours a day and then start 8 am the next morning again... Thoose are really hard days. Haha, I know why noone notices that you have been cutting down on the anime xD Because you've allready seen so much! If I suddenly went up 20 days it whould have been WOW, but if you go up 10 days instead of 20 days then noone will notice ;) And yeah, the Legend of the galactic heroes is kinda good. Still only seen 2 episodes though, so I havent got a great impression of it just yet. But its promising. But I'll be surround with my family so I'm still pretty happy with that XD Yep, I'm pretty close to my family in Thailand. I have 4 aunts and one uncle and each one has two children (except my mon who has only me ) so I have quite decent cousins. Haha, I don't my telling you what is my fortune is but I'll send a personal message to you instead. Thanks, man. I'll try to keep it up. It has been rough with me lately but I'll still fighting somehow. OK, I'm Thai who doesn't like Thai food. That sounds fine but you are from England and doesn't like football is disgrace. LOL. I'm just kidding, man. Everyone has their own favorite sport. I mean, I still don't like to watch baseball at all. I thought it was boring but I know bunch of people who just obsess about baseball and don't like football at all so I guess that's fine. Haha, I was planning to make the banner better but I didn't have much time. I'm glad you like it. I'll try to make it better next year XD. What I lack it the artistic design which is kinda weird I used to be so good at art when I was young. Oh, I have to say that I really respect you for watching a lot of anime and not being cocky. I really don't like cocky people who think they watch a lot of anime in short period of time and make other people feel bad since I don't have time to watch that much. I also watch anime quite slow. I don't fast forward. I even pause and read when the sub is long or the characters tried to say important stuff. So each episode I may spend like 25 minutes instead of only 20. Ahhh.......man. I can't believe that majority of my favorite character were lost from the previous match. Only Fate who is still undefeated but she will go up against the opponent who she never has beat before which is the infamous Shana. I can't even believe that my Tomoyo lost. Oh well, at least, it was Kagami who beat her. Although, I will much happier if Tomoyo win. Man, I can't believe Kyou lost. Shana is too tough. She has too many support. Sorry I just don't like un-cool tsundere type which same goes for Louse from Zero no Tsukaima. Well, I let you go off for now. I hope you are doing well with everything and I'll talk to you later. Right now I am downloading an old, yet good ranked anime called The legend of the galactic heroes... I wonder how it is, but it got aired on TV from 1988 - 1997 and it's 110 episodes long... I'm doing wonderful and yes its been quite awhile and I'm happy to hear from you as well. :D Lately I've been quite busy with work and as well in MAL because I got several clubs I help manage as well as loads of banners to make for different clubs.>.< The latest activity I've done is take care of the September and the current October Contest for the MAL's Profile Club. The competition is getting tighter as each contest passes and a new one starts. The profiles are all becoming incredibly awesome. :D I can tell that you Birthday must have been very awesome. :D You even had a surprise party! >.< So lucky! I'm very happy that you had a great time and generally your life is going well. ;D I on the other hand I'm ok but financially were currently pretty tight because my little baby girl's birthday is coming up...and alot of friends and relatives have upcoming celebrations and events as well (so more expenditures). It's always been like that for us...the last few months in the year are the most expensive times...T___T We seriously have to find a cheaper place so that we can be able to save a little. The other day my little girl had a very nice photoshoot..it was quite a pricey one but were lucky we didn't have to pay for it because we got a gift certificate for it. The pictures are so adorable! I will show them to you once I get them after a week :D I'm still giggling at the thought of the "stuff" that your fraternity brothers gave you. XD Btw..whats the name of your fraternity..aren't these quite dangerous? I don't know but here in the Philippines fraternities can turn out to be very violent and power abusive.
