What're your problems with the current arc?

I see that you've caught up with Black Clover manga. Given the current qualities of production that the anime has presented thus far, how will do you think the anime can adapt the manga justice this time around?

Yes, Black Clover is good. I'm sure that 10 out of 10 score for BC must have pissed off some insecure people.

I plan on watching the Devil is a Part-Timer I’ve heard a lot of good things about it so I’m looking forward to starting it ^^

The Monogatari series I personally found to be really enjoyable and immersive but it seems to be a hit or miss for some people. I’d still say it’s still worth the watch even if you dislike it though because it’s a very unique experience either way due to how the characters and dialogue have been approached compared to other anime.

Highschool DxD for me and a lot of others is just Harem goodness at its finest lol. It just felt like it had everything you’d want in a harem with pretty good plot to top it all off so i'd definitely give it a try if you like harems.

Regarding Pandora Hearts, the anime is decent but where the series really gets all it’s high acclaim from is the manga. The anime sets itself up beautifully but only covers a bit of the story so it had wrap things up with it’s own ending as a result, it also felt like wasted potential because of this which is why I ended up reading the manga which takes the story and characters so much further and deeper to a point where it just can't be compared to the anime at all.

No release date has been confirmed yet but if we're lucky I think we could get it for Winter 2019, and if not then it will probably be Spring 2020. I'm happy waiting though, I didn't even think we'd get a season 2 lol

I'm looking forward to those two as well. I have a lot of sequels, spin-offs and movies to look forward to but the one I'm most excited for would have to be the second season for Re:Zero ^^

Yeh I love One Piece as well, the quality of the anime is as consistent as it's ever been but the pacing is a COMPLETELY different story lol. I've had the anime on hold since the Dressrosa arc to let the episodes stack up before I continue watching it again. It still blows my mind to think that the Dressrosa arc took place all in one day.

You got any anime you're looking forward to in 2019/2020? there's so much good stuff coming out ^^

Yeah the series is heavily inspired by other battle shounen which i'll admit did bother me for a while, but it's starting to feel a lot more like it's own thing now. Almost every battle shounen is guilty of this to some extent though, i could think of so many for a lot of them.

I completely agree that what the series lacks is world-building, it's still early so i'm sure Yuki Tabata will expand more on the Black Clover universe and we will hopefully see more Kingdoms. I also agree that things are progressing too quickly, a lot of series would normally start out with arcs that aren't to grand to introduce and develop characters and to give a good idea to the viewers/readers of what sort of world the series is set in, from everyday life activities to the important stuff. The Witch's Forest Arc and Water Temple Arc were still so good though ^^ like you said it just felt too early.

Part of my enjoyment of the series comes from the Black Bulls which are the most fun bunch of characters and constantly have me laughing. For me also it comes from being able to see the series develop. A lot of long-running anime that i got into like One Piece and Naruto i got into while the series was way ahead so it's really nice to be able to watch Black Clover develop and anticipate where the series is going while it's still kinda new.

What do you think of Black Clover btw? I'd love to hear from someone who loves it just as much as you do. For me personally it's far from perfect, but it's got me hooked like any good battle shounen should. If I were to rate it on enjoyment alone I would easily give it an 8/10 ^^

Fine thanks, i think i'll watcha few episodes to decide if i'll be in for the entire run. I have one more question though, does noelle get as much focus as it seems?, i think she is my closest thing to a crusch in an anime character
