On the topic of piracy: the "I want to support the industry and that's why I stream legally" doesn't really hold water, neither on economic nor in moral grounds. At the end of the day, the marginal benefit (and in business everything is about the marginal profit) doesn't go to the authors or the animators. Whenever you pay for, say, a CR or Netflix subscription you're financing the executives. The ones actually doing the work rarely (if ever) get a cut. There's also the political agenda of those corporations. I won't comment too much on that aspect since the very reason I watch anime is to forget, at least for some minutes, the absolute mayhem that the public discourse has become. Let's just say, my money won't go to those people.
