The MAL script is a godsend, absolute legend!

Sorry about how long it's taken me to respond to you! Sometimes I purposely ignore comments and messages if I just want to focus on anime or manga when I finally get time to watch/read. I'm sure you understand since you yourself said that you don't have as much time to binge anymore nowadays either.

Saraiya Goyou. Hmm... I remember watching like the first few minutes of this a while back and thinking the art-style was very unique. I can't remember why I stopped watching it, though. I'll have to check it out again whenever I'm in need of something new.

Oh, I totally understand. Sometimes it's not even so much as a silence, but like you mentioned, you'll just lose interest in talking to somebody, so I'll usually force the conversation to become stagnant. That's probably really mean, but I'm just tired of playing the "nice" person and not having fun in life, you know? I mean, I AM a nice person in terms of respecting people, but I won't let people walk all over me either.

Well, there you go. That seems like a great way to first, get exposed to the language, and second, practice listening to it (and perhaps speaking it) more normally than you would in a class or through textbooks. I just feel like you learn languages a bit rigidly if done in school because you'll learn the 'proper way' of saying things, and if you do it that way in specific countries/cities, they'll look at you funny because they speak using a lot of slang terms.
Yeah, Japanese can be difficult to learn if you're reading the subtitles. You really only get words that stand out like "baka" and such. Plus, sometimes translations can confuse me because I don't know if the word used in Japanese is actually a real word or just made up for the story. I.e. The "Leaf Village" in Naruto is Konohagakure, so growing up, I was like "Uh??? Is that a literal translation of 'leaf' and 'village' put together, or is that just the name the mangaka came up with for it?" So, it can make it difficult to me. But, maybe I'm just thinking too much into it xD

YES! I agree wholeheartedly lol.

Omg... LOTR is life. I'm having withdrawal symptoms because I haven't watched any of them in the past year. For some reason, I don't feel that way about The Hobbit, though. I adore the book, but I'm just not a huge fan of the movies.
Weird taste in music, huh? What are some of your favorites musicians/groups? I have a huge range when it comes to my taste in music, so I constantly listen to different things, but my favorites have also (for the most part) remained the same for several years now.
Yeah, it's nice to have friends that share similarities. The few friends that I have all play video games, so that's where we essentially click. Only one of them watches anime, but only the action-heavy, shounen shows mostly, so we don't have much to discuss apart from him saying, "Watch it, it's epic!" lol. But yeah, having friends that don't share the same hobbies as you most definitely introduces you to a world of possibilities if they're willing to share theirs. It's nice!

Ugh, that's happened to me before, and I never know if I should suck it up and re-type everything, or just cry and give up on life for the rest of the day xD

So, if you don't mind, I'll continue our small conversation on here for sake of not stuffing your thread with topics.

Huh, wasn't too sure if you would enjoy that one, but that's a nice surprise. Each story is certainly different, but they all have something charming(?) about them. Not sure what the word I'm looking for is.
But no problem, take your time watching them.

LOL I'm glad I could make you laugh xD I tend to ramble on about side things and have a difficult time staying on topic when it comes to just normal conversation. I guess it helps me be social in real life, though, since I don't really fall into those awkward silences if I'm actually trying.

Hey, there you go! Shows them you weren't lying! Anime is a great way to learn either English or Japanese, or at least, become more accustomed to the languages, since they don't normally teach you proper grammar and such. I would've never known English wasn't your first language, as you've got a great grasp of it.
Also, I'm so happy someone else says "interwebs" xD (not being sarcastic)

Yeah, that's very true. Throughout our life, we're prone to so many changes, obviously physically, but also mentally and emotionally. I can actually see my progress through whatever is my favorite anime/show, movie, musician/band, hobby, etc. at any certain point in my life. It's quite interesting.
But I do agree about it being nice to also surround yourself with like-minded people. I actually prefer hanging out with people who share some commonalities (hobbies, likes/dislikes, personality, etc.), but that also have many differences, as well. That's how I've been introduced to so many of the things that I absolutely love now.

Nice Devil man Review
Monster Jan 21, 2018 9:57 AM
Your overall rating of Devilman should be at around 5, considering calculation :)
Intelos Jan 21, 2018 9:36 AM
At least someone recognises that Devilman is utter garbage.
