Japan (Manga) add
(Spoiler warning) This is a book that could have been so much more than a lecture about how the Japanese are number 1 and are taking advantage of their status to further their own agenda and how when the time comes every nation on Earth would turn on the Japanese and enslave them. I liked the magical dystopian event to this but shouldn't the old dude have called them back to present-day wherever they were after they defeated the European enslavers? Man, I expected so much more from the person behind Berserk than this bull. Also what's up with the huge dude lecturing ex-Japanese about ...

Orange (Manga) add
Spoiler
Major Spoilers in the review ahead, please read on at your own risk

So let's start. This has easily been one of the most frustrating and irritating manga I have ever read. Simply because of the inability of the MC to take any action or deal with it other than relying on other people's help or crying. She knows that Kakeru is going to die, and she also knows that he likes and confesses to her but she still doesn't ask him out because she is just mentally challenged even after the whole suicide situation they don't start dating like what's up with that. Why do ...

Wow, I have been reading manga for 8 years and no manga has shaken me to this extent other than Gantz. I have read the original novel, Osamu Dazai's novel was great but this adaptation is tremendous and earth shattering and never have I felt the wish that I had never picked up a series that I felt with this series. The manga has this ability to draw you in with just its first panel and it moves so fast that you won't have the time to take a breather when it starts a new arc in the telling of its unholy saga. The art ...

Megalo Box (Anime) add
Megalo Box is a 50th-year-anniversary rehash of the very popular (and a personal favorite of mine )Ashita No Joe. The anime's art was gorgeous, lending a bit of authenticity to a long-gone era of hand-drawn animation which is scarcely seen in recent animes. The soundtrack written in collaboration with a Hip-hop artist was pretty good but can't be compared to that of Devilman Crybaby and Samurai Champloo. The characters were mehish at best, the fights were lackluster and didn't do justice to the original source material at all. Because in Ashita, Joe was a really strong boxer with a killer punch, in this too Joe ...

Mixed Feelings
Watched this cuz of Watanabe and tbh the sound blew me away. This man is a genius when it comes to picking the sounds he wants to go with this shows. The animation was good , but the CGI during the scenes where they play instruments was pretty good for that day and age. The story was mediocre. The characters were fine, the voice acting was ehhh. This show needs to be watched only for the sound. The animation was lacking in some places. Some scenes were downright cringy, also sometimes the story was too bloated and was pretty hard to follow the story. Some ...

Never seen a better anime. Mugen, Jin, and Fuu have left an indelible part of my life. It has been over a year when I first watched it. I watched the first episode on youtube after watching a WatchMojo video on the best anime OPs and I still remember feeling confused when they came to Battlecry (I was like An English song for a Japanese anime!!??) but I digress so I had to check the anime out. It was during my final exams of my school life when I completed it. Watching this anime made me feel things I had never felt before. I really ...
