Thanks man, I appreciate it and it never bothers me. It's pretty funny because most of the posters remind me of variations of myself from like, 13 years ago. So much passion! I hope these kids grow up into interesting people some day.

Haha yeah. Those two just felt so magical to me. Now I have a great appreciate towards Miyazaki, so when I said overrated I was mainly referring to the blind fanbase that seemingly believes he can do no wrong (thus reflected in the scores of the the majority of his films). However, I do plan on watching both Nausicaa and the Lupin III film, Cagliostro no Shiro in the near future. Both of those titles are critically-acclaimed, but lack the same overwhelming fanbase, leading me to believe that there's more validity to the praise they receive. We'll have to see xD

That's awesome! :D What kind of work is it, if I may ask? Just out of curiosity, haha.

Lyrics are definitely my strong suit, but frankly it only gets you so far, especially when you have much bigger aspirations, lol. I just wish I could overcome my "graveyard of chapter ones" and actually commit to something. I have so many ideas (story-wise), but actually articulating them is where I struggle the most. >_<

Yeah I know what you mean, let me know what your thoughts where wen you finish it:)

Well I finished it yesterday and I really liked it. I takes a really mature approach to the controversial subject of incest. I've seen more anime's regarding that subject, but most of them are really focus on ecchi "fan-service" instead of treating it like a serious matter. This anime really makes you think again about what is right and what is wrong. A bit of a fight between moral and love. The art-style was good, I mean a bit outdated, but it's an anime of 2004. The soundtrack was good, it really was fitting. The story was like a lot of slice-of-life anime, realistic as possible. The characters where really good, they really did a good job in character development. The anime was a bit slow, that could be a turn-of for some people, I personally thought It really contributed to the anime. I took its time to tell a story and capture the feeling of characters.

In summary I would say it a very interesting anime about a controversial subject, that handles that subject with care an maturity. If someone is really close-minded or can't handle a bit of controversially, they are better of not watching it. If you have a bit of an open-mind and want to try something that touches a bit more daring subject, I would say its a really good anime to watch. ^^

Yeah I feel you, and these day I have to read a lot for school, so reading something else is out of question for now :P

Ah XD Well, I can understand why :P They're really good tbh XD

That's awesome though~ XD I sometimes watch art videos and then stare at them in awe, wondering why I'm not good at them haha XD

My favorite changes all the time :') For the moment, I love Blackpink, Twenty One Pilots and Mamamoo. I mostly listen to Kpop nowadays haha XD How about you?

Back as a kid, they'd always show these long running anime on tv so I had the chance to watch Yu-Gi-Oh but there's also pokemon but I think I pretty much forgotten all of that. You know the thing with anime on tv is that as a kid you're practically stuck to your tv so you'd watch a lot of things but nowadays we're all too busy to be spending time doing that unfortunately.

I hope you're alright, seems like a lot of medicine there. Are you nervous of something ahead or is that just a medical condition you have?
That's nice though, having friends with similar interests makes it easier to get along. Too bad most of my friends have almost nothing in common with me :(

Good to hear that you can ignore it. The internet is full of those kinds of people so you learn to get by. Haha well I'm not sure about kind, everyone is human after all, no one is pure good or anything but I try to get along with everyone as best I could.
So do you play video games?

Hmm right now I'm only watching "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" and it's pretty decent. I personally don't really like isekai anime because how they're almost always harem or similar in a way but this one was pretty interesting that's for sure. I'm a little preoccupied with other stuff like video games and projects to really watch many anime right now though so I'll probably watch more in the future.
Manga wise, I'm reading Grand Blue, but the update is really slow. It's totally worth it though if you haven't read it before.
What's your favorite genre in any media?
Worl Apr 5, 2019 6:31 PM
Haha, no worries ^^ Is it a good song? I do enjoy listening to Fall Out Boy from time to time XD I used to use Spotify ^^

I follow random channels lol XD Such as Sou (Someone who do covers of Japanese songs), NigaHiga, 1theK (For K-pop stuff), Asian Boss and so on XD How about you?

Well thank you so much! :)

Yeah, a lot of people write it off because it's not the typical Miyazaki/Hisaishi combo, but I honestly think they're a little overrated anyway. I love Spirited Away, as it's a film I grew up with, but I'm not the biggest fan of Mononoke, Howl's, Totoro, etc. They're all good movies, but Marnie just resonated with me a lot more than the "widely praised" Ghibli films. And it has such a beautiful soundtrack! :D

Oh, no prob! Yeah I used to mainly write lyrics for my various groups over the years, as well as poetry (mainly inspired by the beat poets- Kerouac, Ginsberg, etc.), but nowadays I'm trying to get into more formulaic writing. I'm not the best as I'm rather new to it (and of course my own worst critic lmao), but my long term goal is to become a screenwriter someday, which combines heavy use of both creative and systematic writing. In the meantime I'm just gonna be blogging on here about different anime I like, haha xD

"A Place Further Than The Universe", i recently saw that one, I really liked it, what do you think about it so far? :)

Currently I'm watching Koi Kaze, a bit more controversial anime, donnow if you've heard about it? It's an older one.

As for LN/manga I'm really not much of a reader, so I still reading the LN of oreimo for 2 years and I plan on starting reading the manga of Sankarea someday soon. ^^

Hey, thank you! :D Yeah I spent quite a bit of time with it, though it all came together over a few months, haha.

Also I approve of Omoide no Marnie on your favorites there! That's my favorite Ghibli film :)

Oi mate, I'm great. Thanks for asking!

As you can tell, I'm into Tobey Maguire a lot because it was my childhood and it had cheesy yet perfect moments. TASM was great too, I especially loved Garfield's TASM1 suit and the Lizard. Action scenes were spectacular!! The only downside about the movie is that I found the lines between Dr Connors and Peter to be awfully written and Gwen's father didn't feel real. Im not planning to watch TASM2 anytime soon though, it helps maintain the illusion cx

What do you think of Tom Holland as the young replacement for Andrew?
