I dont see her as a good character at all even before Rebellion & Rebellion just reinforces it...Theres always a reason why you go so far for a person...
& ofc theres limits to that...A problem i notice with Homura is it came out of nowhere!!!
& its not even a solid reason either at first!!!
Especially considering that Mami was around when they saved her in the first timeline...
BUT BECAUSE OF HER REPEATED EFFORT!!!
HER DESPERATION & RESOLVE JUST GETS STRONGER!!!

A parody comedy manga that focuses on Homura!!!

& i thought youll hate her after the movie!!!

Infact...it gets even deeper & makes more sense if you think about what pumpkins really are...

Also...if you notice...there is a symbolism of the Nutcracker witch where the Nutcracker gets executed over & over...
I dunno what that means...either it symbolizes Homura or Madoka in her loops...

Also...there are tons of lizard symbolisms in the movie...
Which symbolizes our beloved timetraveler...particularly Homura her name...
I dunno how lizards are associated with fire...besides Charmander/Charmeleon but it could serve as a symbolism to Satan...for god punishing them to just crawl in the earth in the Adam/Eve story...

We dont even know where this movie takes place...

No matter how much i love & rewatch this movie...

great lineup! I tried out konosuba for the first time recently after hearing news of a third season and was surprised by not being able to get into it very much, though I do like the characters so I’m hoping to get more invested in the franchise as I watch more
and I hope the one piece chapter is great after the long wait! I hear how great the manga is so much you’d think I’d have started it myself by now lol

we don’t seem to be watching any of the same stuff! but to be fair the only show I’ve kept up with weekly is Kaiju lol though I checked out a few others at the beginning of the season—are you not gonna watch Kaiju yourself?

The reason why i reply late is because of anime, basketball & sleep...
Anime because i was finishing my ptw for winter 2024 last week...(I was finishing Tomozaki S2 in the weekend in my free time!!!)
Basketball because most games that i must watch here starts from 1 am & ends around 11-12 noon...
By afternoon im already sleeping & i wake up at night watching anime!!!

Now i kinda get why having hobbies can be a problem at times...
It kills your sleep...
We need to keep it to a minimum!!!
My problem is that some live games i watch starts at midnight...

All of them except Homura follows a character progression pattern...(since ofc she is not in the band if you get the reference...)
-They have a wish
-Follows a certain world view
-questions & doubts about that world view
-dies because of that realization

Madoka - too naive...too selfless for her own good...& you actually hit it right on the money...she thinks she is useless when she is not...far from it actually...probably she thinks that way bcoz she doesnt have powers on most of the show...or atleast in the timeline the show was in...too altruistic coz she cant love herself...

Mami - is harder to track down for me since she lacks screentime...
She just wants someone to be there for her...she was an orphan after becoming a magical girl...so shes easily lonely...i mean...theres no other reason for her to put Madoka & Sayaka in danger on episode 3...

Sakura is also hard to track since she literally have no choice on the situation she is in...
The person who dedicated her wish with has failed her...
It doesnt help that seeing Sayaka's demise is a mirror to herself...
No wonder why they are shipped together & why she died with her...

Sayaka in the other hand is the most underrated character in this series & my 2nd favorite too...probably the most realistic character in the show...
Doing it all for the person she likes...
Selfless & wants to become a hero...
Only to came crashing down in horrible fashion...
I will not be surprised that a 14 year old girl will have that type of mindset like she did if given the opportunity...Her character deserves more respect...
