Uhh, don't mind me being noob but what are BBTs? Well, you never asked, so I didn't feel the need to mention it. I'm not that great anyway. I don't mind teaching you some stuff, but you learn a lot just by playing around with Photoshop.

Truthfully, I've never seen the dubbed version of K-On! Didn't know there were any. In any case. I try not to watch ANY dubbed anime :)
I always feel seiyus(voice actors) outside of Japan tend not to "care". I mean to say, they have no real emotion or care about the job that they are doing. I'm sure it has gotten better now~ But, alas. Subs all the way!

They're both pretty well done. I prefer the sub a little more as the Japanese seiyuu tend to be a little better at moe voices than American voice actresses, but it mainly comes down to personal taste.

dubs are terrible. i dont even want to think about the ear rape america has inflicted on poor yui and mio. does that answer your question? so yes, watch the sub. its the best way to watch anime in this girls opinion.
