It was unique and I loved the episodes, but the cheating was so obvious... even if Kaiji lost I'm sure it would've hurt their profits. I wished that somehow he would've walked away defeating the leader... but the ending was satisfactory. I actually wrote a review for the first season

The ending was perfect, that was the most manliest move Kaiji has ever made in his loser life. Instead of walking away rich for the rest of his life he saves his friends, that's a real man for ya.

I didn't know there was a second season till a while ago, I just finished the episode where he lost all his peso in the dice game and is in 20k more debt. It's pretty good so far, I'm probably going to watch another 10 or so episodes.

It's alright, it's not like I can force you to watch it. I've watched about 26 episodes of Gyakkyou so I'll start watching a little more, I'm at the part where he is gambling in the underground work place.

I didn't know anything about mahjong but after watching I learned a lot about mahjong and it's one of the best gambling anime you can watch.

Oh yes, Blood+. That certainly is not for everybody. I didn't think it was bad per se. But I have met a lot of people who didn't like it.
What did you think of the sequel?

You should check out an anime called "Akagi" is was created by the same person who created Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor and it's a great anime.

What was the recent turd from Production I.G.? There are a couple from them that I didn't like, e.g. Blood: The Last Vampire, Dead Leaves (I enjoyed it, but honestly it is dumb as hell) and some people are saying they didn't like Psycho-Pass.

It's alright, every studio has hiccups, some more-so than others. But yes, Madhouse is easily my favourite.
Production I.G. and J.C.Staff can be considered masters at what they do also. One may say GAINAX, but honestly, they don't produce far enough titles to even be moved in with the other 3.

Yes! I love the game of thrones! Who's you're favorite character? Mine is probably Tyrion or Arya.

"The night is dark and full of bunnies..."
Is this a reference to the Game of Thrones?

Hey dude, you were after a list of some of the worst of MADHOUSE's productions. I've given you a list in the profile. xD

It's from Accel World. Lemme warn you, it isn't exactly A-grade material, but it's a straight up coming-of-age type of shounen anime. Cool setting with no overly crazy plot gimmicks.

Well, with Fate/stay it's impossible to explore the other paths because it makes you go through a specific order. There is a crap load of bad ends, though. I admit that I haven't finished Tsukihime either, it's really good but I just prefer the story and characters of the Fate/ series over it.
I forgot you tend to buy anything before you read/watch it. That's great, but I prefer to experience something before I make the choice to buy it. Fortunately Berserk as more than passed that test, I've started buying the first few volumes. It'll be a slow process but I'll definitely get it all.

Btw, you ever read Fate/stay night? Sorry if we've talked about it before. I don't remember. It's probably my favorite though, admittedly, I haven't read many. I still consider it one of my better experiences with Anime/Manga/Visual Novels.
