of creativity, this whole anime can be summed up like this, LACK OF CREATIVITY

Yes, that's the whole plot and nothing more, the episodes consist of:
A-MC finds out about a new magic/ability and learns it within half an episode, reaches the master level without any difficulty and all the characters are completely surprised even though they see MC doing something ultra amazing once before xD
B-MC fights some monster, most often it is an ultra powerful and self-confident demon, MC plays with him and he turns from self-confident into a terrified child and shouts throughout the entire episode "Nani", "masaka" and the like.
If this anime had deviated from this pattern even a little or modified it in a way other than changing the ability to teach and the opponent, I could have considered the plot to be pleasant, unfortunately it is once again an example of the lack of creativity and overall idea for the plot, the author thought "I will make an ultra powerful a character who will be a boy who looks like a girl" and after the first chapter he ran out of this idea xD
There are examples of similar anime with ultra overly strong MCs and they give something more of themselves, for example Tensei shitara slime datta ken, building an empire and everything that follows.
The purpose of this anime is only that the MC wants to become more and more powerful, so there is nothing that connects this episodic story format, the final goal to achieve which requires the MC to increase his power, without it we have nothing to wait for, we are going nowhere.
As for the characters, they are certainly better than the plot, but still, as befits isekai crap, they are average or completely hopeless.
MC he is obsessed with magic and doesn't care about anything else, his whole character is about learning new things and pushing away girls who are in love with him... nothing interesting, just like his mascot.
The MC's guardian may seem to be the most interesting character, she introduces a nice dynamic between the characters and a bit of confusion so that it doesn't get completely boring, but her pedophilic tendencies are... yes
I don't know why this anime got such good animation but yeah... the animation is above average for isekai crap, I didn't notice any wooden sequences or anything like that.
Soundtrack......any techno? something xD it seems like they wanted to save money and took some free shit from YT which also doesn't fit the atmosphere of isekai fantasy XDD
To sum up:
Repetitive isekai crap with nice animation.

An anime adaptation of one of the most popular manhwas in history....Solo Leveling, does the anime live up to expectations?
From what I see, the adaptation is a disappointment for many fans of the original. I read some of the manhwa about 4 years ago and the only thing I remembered was my positive feelings about this series, unfortunately the anime made these feelings mostly negative now.
The main plot is that the MC is becoming stronger and more edgy, ok it's a power fantasy, don't expect anything from it, the lack of any depth is acceptable but I think this anime doesn't even follow
...
this simple premise able to do satisfactorily.
MC's motivation is to save his mother and provide for his sister, it's just a pity that it is so insignificant in the entire anime, Sung's mother is an ordinary NPC, just like his stupid sister who just accepts that her brother looks like a completely different person xD these characters and their relationship with MC is so poorly built that no one cares if MC saves her mother or pays for her sister's education.
Even in Kimetsu no Yaiba, despite the simplicity of the plot, such a basic thing as the MC's motivation was well-supported.
But what do I expect, MC himself doesn't care about his family and he risks his life in the most stupid way, he doesn't wonder what will happen to his loved ones when he dies.
The characters are boring and seem irrelevant, some are quite nice but in fact if they weren't there nothing would change, this anime only pretends that anyone other than the MC is important.
Building the world seemed cool at the beginning, I liked the fact that on TV, instead of the weather, it shows where portals appear.
This whole organization of hunters is just ok, but what they are fighting is boring, everything behind the gate is boring corridors filled with even more boring monsters, only in the second episode there was something more original.
The fights are so poorly written, I can live with the fact that the enemies are boring huge animals or annoying stereotypical psychopaths but I can't stand the fact that the fights look the same, the MC's stamina seems inconsistent and the stupidest thing is that he always wins by screaming and "trying harder". " in a hopeless situation xD
The animation outside of the fights is average, I felt like I was watching the cheapest isekai, fortunately the fights were decently animated and had a nice soundtrack.
Still, I had a good time and I can recommend it to someone who likes vacuum cleaners.

Dungeon Meshi was my favorite for the best new anime of winter 2024 and it did not disappoint.
Dungeon meshi is a typical fantasy world with guilds and dungeon expeditions, but it approaches it all in a way I haven't seen before (I'm not saying that something similar doesn't exist), instead of fighting, the anime focuses on cooking.
I like this refreshing approach to dungeon exploitation, each monster encountered is described in detail, as well as the method of its preparation.
The cooking isn't just an addition to make the anime stand out, this anime actually spends a lot of time delving into how to cook
...
a monster.
Each episode surprises with something new, everything found in the dungeon can be used for cooking and the series does
Cooking with traps?
A garden of golems?
It's everything and it's not just for the sake of it, it has a plot purpose, eating monsters gives our hero an advantage in exploiting dungeons, so we don't feel like it's forced, "why are they cooking? they should be fighting" there are no such thoughts.
Despite everything, this anime is not only about cooking, we will also see some interesting fights, it is not something like typical isekai, this anime approaches it much more realistically without great fireworks.
The world building here is at the highest level, the dungeons are reminiscent of those from Made in Abyss, there is a curse and different ecosystems on each floor.
The lore and various details are conveyed in a very interesting way, not everything is explained directly and this is a big plus for me, you have to think and connect the dots.
The characters in this anime are great, each team member is different but equally necessary, we clearly see their strengths and weaknesses, which are revealed to us in each episode. The four of them create a great team with a family atmosphere. I like Laios and Senshi the most, they are the most important weirdos in the team, I love them.
The comedy in this anime is great, at the beginning it may seem that it will mainly consist in the reactions of an elf who is unable to convince herself to eat monsters, but in the end we get a variety and absurd humor that is not about "haha sex" as in most anime.
As for the main plot of the anime.
The peace of our heroes and the lack of time pressure was a bit strange to me, I wondered why they weren't worried about whether their friend was still alive, then I heard about the magic of resurrection but it was also mentioned that it could fail so... I know it's more of a comedy but they should care more about their friend since that's the main goal of this anime.
In later episodes they made up for the lack of any concern for Falin's fate, their slow pace can also be explained, but it would have been better if the main goal had been better established from the beginning.
This isn't a big mistake, considering the direction the plot took.
After ep 12 it seems like this is just the beginning and something much bigger awaits us, I can't wait to see itโฅ๏ธ
This is the most underrated anime of winter 2024
9/10 with a good chance of promotion xD

Based on the trailers, this anime promised to be one of the best in the winter 2024 season, but unfortunately for me it turned out to be a disappointment.
The plot is that the main couple is hunting for a specific witch, of course they can't find her very quickly, so every episode (or every two episodes) we will get a new witch that we will have to defeat and discover that she is not the one they were looking for, ok, but it's an anime he can't do it in an interesting way, everything is so boring and bland.

engage the viewer in the plot, nothing is properly substantiated, you watch it and at the end you say "ok", and then you forget about it because it did not evoke any emotions in you.
The author forgot to make it clear that although we care about the main goal of this anime, the MC that this thread mainly concerns is unbearable, Guideau is a one-dimensional, constantly pissed off girl and it's hard to root for her.
The animation is at best correct, sometimes tragic, and certainly does not meet my expectations.

Beyblade is one of the best cartoons I watched as a child, then I didn't know it was an anime.
In my memories, this series is amazing and I want it to stay that way, so I won't rewatch it, but from what I see from the ratings, I think most people have different feelings or they are adults who have unknown expectations when it comes to anime and fairy tales for children xD
Looking at what's currently on Cartoon Network, you can appreciate a series like Beyblade even more, it contains everything that a 10-12-year-old me could dream of.

discs that had their epic avatars made of energy, Pegasus, Cerberus and many more super Beys, my favorite was the one that looked like a clock face and could change the direction of its rotation.
I will show my children cartoons such as Beyblade or Bakugans or another cartoon from before 2015, now they make crap for children, so you have to appreciate such trifles.
Beyblade beyblade let it rip.....:)

I'll give this anime a chance, the fact that it's not another isekai crap makes me feel positive about this series.
The animation in this anime is the top 2 of this season, really nicely done and impressive action scenes with an interesting soundtrack in the background.
As for the characters, of course the two MCs stand out the most, they have different characters, Naomi is the more mature one and Rouge is the childish one, it is interesting to watch their interaction, even though after three episodes their relationship is not yet developed enough.
But I
...
think Rouge shines the most in this series, she's really cute and strong at the same time, and her autistic character can make you smile, you just want to watch her.
The anime is pleasant to watch, although after the first episode we know almost nothing about the world and the motivations of the characters, the first episode already gives the impression that we were thrown into the middle of the season.
For me, it's a plus at the moment because the characters don't explain things that are obvious to them, such as scientists from Interstellar who flew into space and have to explain the basics of their mission to other scientists, the time will simply come and we'll see what comes of it.
After episode 3, the plot is not outstanding, for now it is based on standard science fiction tropes, but I think it can go in an interesting direction, I hope so, since the creators are releasing a webtoon comic in March, maybe I actually have an interesting idea for this series and not it will be nothing.
7/10 for now

When I first heard about this anime, I only knew that the author of Akame ga Kill had something to do with it and I thought I would give it a chance... I regret it
Unfortunately, this anime is a crap ecchi comedy with action elements.
So classic in this type of shit, empty characters and empty plot, these things are not important in this type of anime if the comedy, interactions between characters, action scenes and ecchi are fine but in this anime everything is so repetitive and boring that it hurts.

without character but even more, the level of being a submissive loser goes off the scale.
This is the pillar of this series, the comedy of dragging the mc into mud and having it shamed by the female characters, for some it may be funny, for me it's embarrassing.
The eccchi scenes in this program are also weak and there are few of them for this type of anime, so even people who watch anime for the "plot" will not find anything here.
The action scenes that take up a large part of the episode are boring and the animation is hopeless, the fight with 3D idiots in the episode is not the least bit interesting.
After three episodes, I say that this anime is crap, which may be a little better in future episodes if the rewards from the white-haired waifu are "more interesting" XD
But why watch it? it's easier to type hen into google....

I heard only good opinions about this series, that it was a tearjerker and so on, I tried episode 13 but it didn't work, I was more upset that most of the main cast were such hopeless characters that they didn't even get their departure scene (I'm mainly looking at you TK) xD
The story is about characters who are in a kind of purgatory and have to work through their traumas in order to move on, interesting assumptions, but it's a pity that 80% of this anime is a stupid comedy with a few "sad stories", the plot until episode 9 is... not
...
even what, things are just happening, some plans to kill Kanade (the only character I liked) 10 times they will try to kill her with this firearm (made of sand XDD) and they will never learn that it doesn't work and they will be surprised that they lose, literally in the first episode Yuri she had the opportunity to shoot her in the head with that sniper rifle (because Kanade didn't have the shield turned on) and she didn't do it XD
NPCs do not react to strange things that are happening around them, even though this afterlife is supposed to pretend to be a normal world and, for example, teachers interrupt illegal concerts (or something), but they don't care about rocket chairs.
You can go on and on, but I don't want to.

First, let me start with something that may be the reason why you won't like the anime.
"Fan service" and generally perverted scenes involving children are really unnecessary in this anime, I don't want to see a scene in every episode where a 12-year-old girl is naked or hear another mention of a little boy's penis, I don't know what it's for, but this anime would be for I find it much more enjoyable without these types of scenes.
The atmosphere of mystery and adventure plus the dissonance between cute characters and a really brutal world is very good
The charming appearance of the

characters and the friendly atmosphere in the first episodes are misleading because what happens next is a rollercoaster of emotions that left me quite depressed for a long time.
The characters are very cool and have interesting designs.
Not all of them are exceptionally written, but it is very easy to like them and be moved by the tragic fate of some of them.
Soundtrack...I thought aot had the best soundtrack in the history of anime and I still think so but it ranks right up there with Made in Abyss, the soundtrack in this anime is a feast for the ears, you just have to watch it and see for yourself.
This "review" was written after two seasons and a movie, I really recommend this anime, if you can survive the "fan service" you will love it.
The first season 9/10, the rest 10/10

I was planning to watch it for a long time but the main character convinced me to do so, she carries the entire anime on her shoulders and at the same time is the biggest problem for me in this anime xD
The main character is really easy to like, she has a strong character and is charming at the same time, she focuses on her passion, watching Maomao get excited about what she does brings a smile to my face every time but unfortunately...
Maomao is too perfect, she knows everything and nothing bothers her, I wanted to compare her to Dr. House but
...
despite his intelligence, he was not as idealized as Maomao, I miss her own dilemmas in this character, the problems she has to face personally.
At the beginning I thought that she would have to deal with the fact that she was kidnapped, that she would miss her father or that people from the palace would treat her worse (I mean, it was a bit like that, but it ended quickly) but no, 3 months of time jump and Maomao is doing well , it's a pity, it would be more interesting than what we got.
I'm also saddened by the lack of enemies for momao, the puzzles, which is what all the episodes are about, don't cause any problems for her, so you could give her an enemy who would be jealous of her achievements, but she doesn't have that either.
Overall, it's too nice for the imperial court.
The second pillar of this anime is Maomao's relationship with Jinshi, if you took it seriously, you could be a little disgusted because of Maomao's harassment by him, but it's probably more of a comedic aspect so it will pass xD
It's charming in its own way, I wonder how their relationship will develop.
This review is after ep 6, I don't feel the need to continue this anime even though it's not bad.
