Hmmmmmm…. I can see why certain people might say this is a good anime. That it has a tried and tested forbidden love plotline. That the struggles of the couple are real and dramatic.

I however am not one of those people. The art was so bad that I wanted to scratch my eyes out. It looks as if a bunch of first graders were hired to do the job. Art is never the deciding factor in whether an anime is good or not but I mean come on!?

What the art did was ruin every other factor across the board. It made it so that ...

Now I'm not one to give glowing reviews lightly. In fact as I get older the more anime I find to be dumb or service for teenage boys with a hard-on.

However, after a slew of disappointing anime in the same vein of dropped into a game world (e.g. Overlord II, SAO Alicization, that isekai maou thing). This is a nice change of pace.

Not nearly as traumatic as Goblin Slayer was and possessing a range of characters that are interesting as well as an intriguing plot idea I have no choice but to give this anime my glowing recommendation to those who are fans ...

Hmmm how to put this the right way? Perhaps it was because I watched it late at night when I was tired or perhaps it was the gradual character development. It may also have been the very light humour which sometimes left me going 'Heh, that's funny.'

In any case while there isn't much about this anime that I'd write home about I can say that from episode 2 onwards I did enjoy myself.

The first episode was cringeworthy though and I found myself preferring the Dubbed version to the Subbed.

This anime is a good one to watch if you're looking for something lighthearted and ...

Hmmm... This is an interesting anime at its core with a story that, on the surface at least, appears to be quite reminiscent of the Magnificent Seven or Samurai seven.

Team of badasses protecting the 'chosen one' so to speak.

The problem with this anime lies in its worldbuilding.

It is set during Sengoku Jidai and so one would assume it is a historical anime filled with hard gritty, realistic action.

Instead we get a Naruto pretender with secret techniques, magic and monsters thrown into the mix.

There is nothing wrong with this trope but it feels odd and out of place when basing it on real ...

Hmmm... How best to review this particular anime?

Let me start off by saying that if you've clicked on this anime then you must love slice of life anime and/or romance.

This anime bears, for me at least, a striking resemblance to one of my favourite anime movies: The Garden of Words.

This holds true for this anime right down to the obsession with rain. Don't mistake my tone for one of boredom though. This is a great anime with decent characters and a great plot bunny.
I must also say that the female lead has one of the most intense and mesmerizing eyes I've ever ...

I am not one to write bad reviews. In fact if I didn't enjoy an anime then I wouldn't even add it to my list, let alone review the title.

The problem around this anime is that its premise sounds intriguing and it has a strong first episode before spiralling down.

The story becomes a generic touchy feely harem anime with a hero who ultimately comes across as unlikeable due to his niceness. A great main character should have flaws.

This anime is only one in a long series of SAO wannabes that fails to live up to the hype it tries to deliver.

You want touchy ...

How best to classify this series? My two favourite Naruto quotes spring to mind.

1) Look underneath the underneath
2) If the bait is obvious then don't fall for it

Unfortunately for the male lead he is the biggest sucker on the planet and the female lead plays with him like a wolf plays with small prey.

This is what gives this innocent show its comedic edge and it works pretty well.

This is not a serious anime in any sense and is meant for pure laid back enjoyment of young love.

The problem with this series is that it is a Titanic. It had an idea that, for an anime, could have turned into something truly epic for a fantasy story but instead it took its plot and crashed it straight into an iceberg.

The main character isn't drawn too well and his character is blander than vanilla ice-cream. He is made pointlessly OP and the main drawing point of the anime, the smartphone, is almost never used.

Instead it is merely mentioned or pulled out once or twice an episode to ensure we never forget it.

The other characters are all such stereotypes that it only serves to ...

Yup. I love this series that much.

Amagami SS+ is the second season of Amagami SS.

To put it bluntly it gives you more time with your favourite characters. It serves to show what happens with certain girls after the relationship is established as well as to actually establish the relationship with the one that got left out.

The music was excellent as always.

The characters were perfect and believable.

Oh boy! Here we go so strap in kids cause this one's a doozy!

Sign is quite simply a Love/Hate anime.

You will know after watching a single episode whether you're going to like it or not.

For me it's love all the way.

To begin with it has an interesting plot and a main character with whom I felt a great deal of sympathy. The music was highly memorable (to the point where I still hum it to this day) and it possessed a whole ensemble of interesting characters and stories.

This was, as far as I am concerned, the original 'trapped in a game ...
