No problem man, I'm happy there's someone on MAL that doesn't get upset when their errors are pointed out.

I read your Katanagatari review and I just thought I should tell you:

-The main character isn't an idiot(we find this out in later episodes) his way of thinking is just simple and straightforward and he actually understands more than most people.

- The main female character is called the strategist, I'm not sure why you expected her to be as strong as an ancient ninja clan and a guy that did nothing but train to fight for 20 years. The story starts with her coming to ask Shichika to be her bodyguard because she knew she wasn't strong.

Other than this I get that the show wasn't really your cup of tea and your review was nicely structured.

I'll be biased about my opinion about Katanagatari, but the series doesn't begin to unravel until episode 5 and 6 with the head of the Maniwa and the semi-antagonist (I use that term very loosely) in the form of Princess Hitei. Considering the monologue and wordplay is the selling point of the series and the fights serving a high purpose then what you would find in a generic shounen series I don't blame you for dropping it

Some advice though, if the thought of watching a series called Monogatari comes up, skip it

I read your review about Katanagatari, our opinion may differ but what makes Katanagatari great was the monologue. The action is not the main point in this series :)

I really liked them all, without an exception, even Rihoko and Sae-chan, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably go with Kaoru, she's really my type and I fall easily for girls like her, but they were all great in their own ways, really, but it's probably because I can relate to Junichi's relationship with Kaoru.
I just finished the first season, I'm happy I watched it, I'll probably start season two today as well, not too sure.
Now, now, since we talked a bit, can I ask you why you gave Kotoura-san a 5 but you have it as a favorite? lol

That's a pretty good Fuuka review.
We're both fans of Haganai and Fuuka, and we share a very similar taste, so, since I'm watching Amagami SS right now and I'm enjoying it so much, can I ask you about your favorite route in the anime?
