She rocks as Lina! Cynthia Martinez and Amanda Winn Lee sucked as the ADV Lina dubs! However, these two actresses are great in other roles just not Lina.

I love, love, love Lisa Ortiz! She is amazing in everything she does! She's in some of my favorite animes like "Animation Runner Kuromi", "Kare Kano" and "NTHT" and she's amazing in them! I hope she will be in more anime in the future.

I really love and hate this voice actress. I love her because she is great at playing introverted characters while still projecting clearly. I originally heard her as Deedlit in Lodoss War and liked the voice. She followed that up playing my most hated character of all time Shiori in Revolutionary Girl Utena. I think her voice was absolutely perfect for the role, and added to my hatred for the shy self centered girl. It really made my skin crawl at times. That is why I love and hate her!

I've always loved Lisa Ortiz as a voice actress ever since I first heard her as Deedlit. It remains my favorite role from her, although Lina Inverse is also up there. In just about everything I've heard her voice in, Ortiz has never let me down. There's something about her voice that charms me every time I listen to it.
