A character artist who's designs are quintessentially "anime", but not obnoxiously so. I think Sadamoto's work keeps the art of old school anime alive.

Far and ahead one of the best artists working in anime today, or ever for that matter. His character designs strike the perfect balance between style and realism, and are always appealing to look at. Not so sure about him as a storyteller, though...
