A singer and new seiyuu since February 2011. His voice is very feminine, which he had a complex about; however, he got used to it because people like this kind of unique voice. Yanagawa Noboru is the name that he uses for the Yamaha music foundation.
He is part of Rejet's Seiyuu singing unit, Unicorn Jr. along with Sawashiro Chiharu and Toshiyuki Someya.
Aoi Shouta is also involved in Stage Play and played as Shiomi Sakuya for Persona 3: the Weird Masquerade Stage Play.
I have to wonder if maybe he's a Kleinfelter (XXY chromosome). Both his voice (more alto than tenor) and his looks are very feminine. I don't mean that in a bad or judgmental way, because I really like his voice a lot. But I still wonder.
@tsubasa: I saw that news today and I was shocked! Totally did not expect a best of album for his previous stage name songs, not to mention they announced it without any warning today. Perhaps because Aoi returned to King (his previous label)?
