'Rebuild World' Announces Main Cast
The Dengeki Bunko 30th Summer Festival Online 2023 event announced the main cast and a second teaser visual (pictured) for the Rebuild World television anime on Sunday.Cast
Akira: Daiki Yamashita (Boku no Hero Academia)
Alpha: Yurika Kubo (Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou)
Sheryl: Honoka Inoue (Edens Zero)
The anime adapts Nafuse's action sci-fi light novel, which he began writing on the Shousetsuka ni Narou and Kakuyomu websites in February 2017. Kadokawa acquired the novel and published the first volume under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint in May 2019, featuring illustrations by Gin. The 12th volume shipped on July 14.
A manga adaptation by Kirihito Ayamura began serializing in Dengeki Maoh in July 2019. The ninth volume went on sale on April 27.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English for digital release in May and September 2022, respectively. Fourth light novel volume went on sale on June 16, with the fourth manga volume released on July 5.
