According to the cover note of volume 2, Owada Hideki's mahjong manga Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku was announced to get an anime adaptation.

Wat? Are you sure it's abridged?

In the full version, OP sequence will be added. and director Mizushima said they'll revise some scenes. ... or rather to be called "beta version"?

Amazon says it's 30min OVA (3 episodes).

Good animation is good, but if there will be just 1 or 2 episodes, I'll be honestly disappointed. Hopefully it will be a long OVA, 6 episodes at least.

At least with a OVA, we can expect at least above average quality for the animation. So I hope they're going to do justice to all the specials moves like "Patriot Tsumo" :P. Just imagine how glorious the anime would become with good animation!

According to Amazon.jp and ANN, the first DVD should come out next february 26!

I just cannot wait for this.
Of all the manga about mahjong that i've read, this really is the best one!

Oh yes, for now that's enough. (I had actually expected there to be a representative of China as well, but oh well. Of course, the two don't like being associated) I must have missed him because I was taking in the fact that the Pope will be making an appearance as well? Hah. That man is to be feared. I actually liked the former one much better. Kind of disappointed that Bush will be a player. They should just leave the man alone, he has done his deed. How tragic that one may have been.

Anyhow, I'm wondering how this will go.
