PlayStation3 RPG 'Hyperdimension Neptunia' To Be Animated

According to Dengeki Playstation magazine, Compile Heart's RPG "Hyperdimension Neptunia" was announced to get an anime adaptation. The newest version Hyperdimension Neptunia V will be released on August 30th.

A manga adaptation has been serialized on an online manga site Famitsu Comic Clear since November 2010.

I love these games on PS3. Still need to play the two sequels (so damn overpriced) but I'll definitely watch this anime when it gets subbed.

WOW! There so many neptunia fans here a bit shocked because I thought I was the only one who heard of this game on mal.

It became mainstream pretty fast.

An original story is probably the best idea, since it will be friendly to those who haven't played the game.

mk2 and victory has more of a plot than the 1st one though overall its just for fun series and those who are too serious on plot line and stuff..this probably aint a series for them

This is one of those cases where the show doesn't need a plot to be popular.

Even Idea Factory themselves were surprised at how ridiculously popular Hyperdimension had got from their first game which was basically just showcasing a bunch of cute girls going on a random adventure.

In before a bunch of Ixion Saga: DT fans claim this to be a rip off of the show.
