Both Rosario+Vampire and Mx0 are high school Supernatural, Rom/Coms; but R+V focuses more on monsters and the romantic comedy side of things, on the other hand Mx0 focuses more on its characters and magical wizardry. ^_^

Similarities include: schools in which students learn how to become more proficient with magic; male protagonists who have unique positions within the school system due to their special ability; the many female characters who they oftentimes interact with; and an action-oriented narrative with many references to magic tropes.

Do note however that Mx0 is mostly light-hearted, whereas Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei has a more serious tone.

Both series deal with two guys who end up in magical situations by accident, one has a magic power of it's own tho', and one.. not. They get in to all kinds of situations involving magic and other powers, fights or just nonsense, both shows deal with a great amount of action, to both, there's also a side of comedy, drama and a bit of romance.

If you like magic and adventure, I think these two manga are for you. The two can really feel like epic fairy tales at times. Mahou Sensei Negima! has a magic teacher in a normal school (normal?) whereas Mx0 has a normal guy in a magic school.

altho characters are kind of different, Yamada-kun to 7-nin no majo and Mx0 have the same feel, which means that if you enjoyed one, you're likely to like the other. Both are Romance/comedy with something supernatural going around.
reportRecommended by Whmal
At their core, these two manga have similar setup, so if you liked one, you should check the other too: 1) Characters go to a magic or special ability school; 2) Main characters are not originally power holders; 3) Everyone thinks the main character is the strongest (or has the potential) but in reality the situation is way more complicated; 4) Main characters have to hide the source of their powers; 5) Main characters are supported by a charismatic teacher and it's just fun to read;
reportRecommended by Lylaaz
Both of the stories center around a student who is feared by most of the student body for being incredibly strong, but in reality they are one of the weakest in the story. This false belief is caused by misunderstandings when they first arrived at the school and is kept up by the main character's bluffs. Now, there is a difference in the stories because MxO is set in a magical school while Transfer Student takes place in an ordinary delinquent school.

Both Mairimashita Iruma-kun and Mx0 give you the similar feeling. In both, the MC ended up in a different world and are made to go along with the nonsensical approach to adapt to their new environment. * MC's character personality are very different from one another and they have their own unique way of doing thing but both have a strong sense of belief when it come to dangerous situations. *Somehow, they both always end up to the center of attention of everyone much to their dislike. * In both, story development is at a good pace and you will always end up wanting for read more

At the core of both series, magic is a prominent source of power. The main protagonist from both series experiences with magical powers that truly tests the limits of their abilities. Throughout the story, they learn about magic and grow stronger as they take on adversaries. Both series' main male protagonist also shares similar personalities and is always eager to prove themselves and to others. Expect shounen style action and conflicts involving supernatural elements.

Mx0 is one of my all time favorites. It was difficult finding something with similar themes. I found Angel Densetsu to draw many similarities to mx0. First of all, both protagonists are teenage male characters that are often recognized by their fellow students as "a monster" or a very powerful entity Second of all, both manga cover elements of action, romance, and outstanding comedy third of all, both characters are heavily misunderstood, or indirectly deceiving others using their wits or instinct fourth of all, both characters are famous in their respective schools and seen as "out of the ordinary"
reportRecommended by SrwpkMX
The premise at the beginning is similar in both stories: - a guy enters a magic school with no magical powers. What's fun in both series is that how they play around it. They have to be clever or really skilled in something else in return. Both are an amusing read.
reportRecommended by Lylaaz
1. Both titles contain "Zero" ('0')?! 2. Both protagonists don't have the special power like any other character 3. Both female leads have lovely impression and desperately fall in love with protagonists (Aika x Taiga & Koyuki x Toru) 4. If you like Mx0, try to look at Iris Zero and vice versa.

The same mangaka (Yasuhiro Kano) so both have similar character designs and also very similar character personalities. However Pretty face focuses of the Romance Comedy side of sides, whereas Mx0 focuses on the Supernatural Acton side of things. ^_^
reportRecommended by Master10K
In these two serialisations, there is heavy emphasis on class battles. What is more is that battles between classes take on unorthodox forms. In Mx0, magic is used; whereas in Baka to Test, avatars are summoned to fight in an RPG style.

Mx0 And Zettai Karen Children adapts a story where there are individuals in their world with unnatural gifts and talent. Both series focuses on a group of main characters that shows their own potentials. We see how much they evolve over the course and what they learn about their powers. Both series also crafts relationship connections that ranges from respect, friendship, and even romance. There's much to explore in regards to the origins of the powers coming from both series as well. For Mx0, it deals with magic content while Zettai Karen Children has espers.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both stories centre around an irregular at a Magic Highschool, despite this series being centred around Miyuki, it still has many similar themes and the story still revolves around her brother, Tatsuya (the irregular). The major difference between Mahouka Koukou is that it attempts to instil a society where magic is practical and common and explores social issues arising from the distinction between magicians and regular people while Mx0 focuses on the comedic relationship the irregular forms with his peers.

Immortal Regis and Mx0 are both school-based Supernatural, Shounen manga about their protagonist, trying to acquire something to reach their goal. ^_^
reportRecommended by Master10K
Although they may not share a similar premise, they do execute their stories in a manner that is light-hearted and fun.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Both these series follow male protagonists who have to deceive others so they can continue to work (in the case of Hammer Session!) or study (in the case of Mx0).
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Both focuses on Main character making excuses
reportRecommended by Confucius
In both, main lead (male) entered a school they thought was normal, but students there are able to use magic/mysterious power. That's the only similarity. Mx0 is much more light-hearted, students there learn and use magic, and having fun. Aphorism is of serious tone, bloody/gory.. Students entered the school are 'jailed', they are forced to stay in the school until they graduated(if only they could make it), and forced to fight monsters every now and then. Aphorism is really what I called a hidden gem.

Although not entirely of the same premise, both manga series involves schools that trains their students in various abilities that are measured in terms of strengths/levels. Both the main characters from in their respective series have similar personalities. Both series has action, drama, and comedy involved. There are conflicts involved throughout both manga series that deals with the powers that the students use and adversaries that abuses them for their own reasons.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both of these manga series has similar feeling as well as being written by the same author. The character designs are also similar in both series and even the main protagonist and heroine have similar personalities. There is comedy, romance, drama, ecchi, and supernatural elements present in both manga as well.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both MCs being initially useless, wins fights through bluffing, and put into situations in which they're mistaken as perverts. Both have great actions scenes despite being mainly Comedy/Ecchi.
reportRecommended by Hibernape
Very similar genres... boy goes off to a magic school who is powerless and unable to use magic (or so it seems...) Joins the school's magic commitee and works hard to stay in the school...Both seem to have many female characters (vs. males) and plenty of FanService!!
reportRecommended by sspatel_55
two brilliant manga with a unlikely hero that will do anything to protect his friends
reportRecommended by Nwinter32
After the protagonist gets influenced by a girl, he gets sucked into a completely different world where he needs to use more brain than brawl (or magic). In Kenichi, since the protagonist is a total beginner in martial arts but still gets teaching from the best fighters of the world, gives him similar a position to his opponents as Kuzumi gets from the gold card in Mx0
reportRecommended by Zartyljee
Magic exists in both series as Mx) and UQ Holder! takes that concept and molds it with its characters and story. The main male protagonist gets involved with various events that has influences from the past, present, and future. There is a good deal amount of action in both series to test the limits of our character's abilities. Mx0 is more noticable for focusing on its mechanics while UQ Holder takes those mechanics to craft a creative story.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Shounen manga whose protagonists grow stronger as the stories progress. Both protagonists are misfits who think differently than everyone else in their communities which relies heavily on magic and supernatural power. Needless to say that the mc doesn't wield their magic/ability very well at first.
reportRecommended by bunny1ov3r
In both manga, there is a special school with special students with gifts and talents. They go by a ranking system. In both manga, the main protagonist strives to proof himself to others through hard work, determination, and some help with his friends. This involves training with others and acing various tests. Both the main protagonist from the series have similar personalities. Additionally, there is bits of superhuman stunts involved that is not normal in the typical world. Hence, expect some battles and struggles. There is also bits of romance, drama, and comedy as well at various stances.
reportRecommended by Stark700
If you are looking for manga where the MC is keeping a big secret then both stories have it. Basically both stories have similar start where a guy really likes a girl and ends up in a new place because of her. But some circumstances make it so that they have to keep a "secret" if they want to continue with their "new life".
reportRecommended by Lylaaz
Both feature school councils that deal with a lot of strife within the school setting. Both also has action that involve the use of special abilities.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
These two series share magic and romance themes. Suprisingly, the art style is also similar.
reportRecommended by radiantfire

Both serialisations share the following similarities: schools that specialise in teaching magic; supernatural themes that reference myths; male protagonists who are considered unique; harems for both protagonists; and frequent displays of ecchi.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
the similarities are endless seriously if you liked one check out the other both have a nice balance between comedy and action both have females fighting over the main character both have cute sidekicks they have similar art styles and are both great to read
reportRecommended by sesgel
Both funny with a touch of action, Mx0 more so than To-LOVE-Ru however. IF you are interested in fanservice, there is plenty but its not very good so if you were looking for fanservice mangas, chose one with a worse plotline.
reportRecommended by gengduck
Both has harem involved and magic...and the main protagonits have master magic....just see the results by reading these 2 lovely manga's ^^
reportRecommended by MrHarrubu
-You want your main character thrown to Kingdom Come -You want him to be a bumbling fool that grabs things "accidentally" -You want the budding relationship to be funny -You want to laugh at what happens to your character when he does something stupid Then this is a good manga you should read. Honestly.
reportRecommended by quietaznkid619
Incredibly similar main male characters. Shounen. Both were in the main plot due to circumstances, not by personal choice. And tremendous growth at the end compared to the beginning. Both have special powers.
reportRecommended by Dunkjoe
both manga are held in magical schools and both protagonists have no magical powers to start. Though they differ with ZnoT having to deal with nobility and royalty in a different dimention and Mx0 dealing with magical zones and school bullying both are very good reads. So, if you enjoy one i believe that you will enjoy the other.
reportRecommended by danm
Both main characters are keeping secrets from their classmates that they have powers / or they don't have powers at all. Learning new skills, fighting and getting better. I think they have a lot in common. Both happen in special schools.
reportRecommended by Lylaaz
Mx0 is a must if u enjoyed psychic academy, and vice versa. Mx0 is about magic plates, while Psychic Academy is about aura/psychic. Highly similar.
reportRecommended by Dunkjoe
both have magic and both have a lot of comedy and some romance
reportRecommended by joey989
Both protagonist have kick ass atitude which is a happy go lucky and reckless person but in the end they get the attention and praise of everyone around them. They also tend to be so honest and pure.
reportRecommended by baog
Both feature a powerless male lead who's surrounded by power users. Though both Yokoshima and Kuzumi are in way over their heads, they survive through a hilarious combination of blind luck and bluffing.
reportRecommended by Torisunanohokori
Both titles involve characters who have to deceive others primarily in a school setting. Although Nisekoi is a romance series, Mx0 only features it as a subplot.
