Includes manga with creatures from legends (e.g. youkai), or stories that rely heavily on myths/mythical themes for the plot (so no slice-of-life comedies that just happen to have inhuman characters, for example). Ghosts, zombies, werewolves, dragons, random demons etc. are omitted; there are too many manga with those, as they are far more popular than other legends. Urban horror legends aren't included either (like in Terror Night, for example).

Only a few works containing gods are included. They must meet one of the following conditions:
— feature gods originating from other cultures, not Japan's
— feature existing gods from mythology (not made up by the author).

Most of the manga on this list are episodic btw

Manga depicting the daily life/religion/historical events/just culture overall of different parts of the world.

Doesn't include Japanese culture since most of the manga have a Japanese setting anyway.

don't expect (all) of them to blow your mind, make you rethink your whole life, or anything like that; some may just make you go "oh, i haven't thought about it that way before!" it's just as simple as that.

also, not necessarily every chapter of each manga was something to meditate on. so don't expect about that either.

also!! "thought-provoking" does not necessarily equal "philosophy".

also, (ah, i'm getting tired of this word), all of those manga have under 15k members, hence why i call them "hidden gems"

Mangá² podcast recommendations (#050-#099)

A variety of manga I've enjoyed and would recommend, that are each two volumes long. Give them a try!

Any manga, manwha, or manhua that primarily revolves around Greek myths, or prominently features at least one figure from Greek Mythology.

Note: I did not include any overly explicit titles, or titles I could not find much information about.

Extra Note: I didn't want to add every Saint Seya spin-off(there are a ton), so I just put the original. All of them are about Greek mythology, so just use the original as a placeholder for the entire franchise.

Studio JG, powstałe w 2006 roku, na początku swojego istnienia znane było z wydawania magazynu o mandze i anime „Otaku”. Po czasie ich działaność rozszerzyła się o polskie komiksy inspirowane stylem mangowym oraz doujinshi komedie oparte na wcześniej powstałych już tworach (np. Akatsukiss inspirowane Naruto, Dead Not inspirowane Death Note).
W 2009 postanowili wydać mangę „Hetalia”, co rozpoczęło ich drogę w zostaniu jednym z największych wydawnictw mangowych w Polsce.

Lista jest ułożona od najstarszej pozycji do najnowszej.
