Preliminary Spoiler

The premise and the first half of the story really might turn off a lot of people and believe me it did the same to me as well. But there's actually a reason for this behavior. The boy was experiencing everything his father did in his childhood which is making his memories mess up with his father's thus the distasteful crush love started. The second half of the story however completely made a 180° jump and we were given Ninomae as the form of a medicine which would later cure our Male lead from his weird complex. The story is worth reading and very ...

"I'm in love with my mother...I think."

From the creator of Mysterious Girlfriend you know your getting yourself into weirder obscure human nature of things, and it just continues here. Ookumo-chan Flashback is a story of coming into adolescence. Minorou our protagonist, experiences the memories of his late father when he was in love with his mother. Although oddly enough, those same feeling start transcending into his world with his mother. It's peculiar in that weird way, almost crossing the borderline of taboo, but it never reaches that point.

His mother is a manga artist throwing many hints to Mysterious Girlfriend X, another series from the ...

It is shown that mr. riichi ueshiba often has an involvement of "mothers" in his story just like in nazo no kanojo x, but this time it is really great over all.

the concept starts off as suzuki minoru gaining access to his deceased fathers older memories which included his mother and his father's romantic relationship, ookumo aya, his mother is a person which he gained a little interest in which is really bad considering they are in a parent and child relationship, this has become a problem for minoru as his flashbacks/memories are being mixed with reality creating a certain attraction to his mother.

and through ...

Wholesome, great art, likeable characters and unique story.

"The innocence of first love" : nothing describes Ookumo-chan Flashback better than this.
This manga is clearly underrated and deserves more attention !
I put this manga in "my plan to read" for so long thinking it was not worth it. Turns out I was wrong and the very first chapter immediately made me invested in the characters.

If you are into slice-of-life involving non-cliche romcom then... THIS IS A MUST READ.

Why ? as a "degenerate" weeb I will say because "best girls".
Wait... "Best girls" ? so you are telling me that it's a har-
Nope... this is not ...

Preliminary (20/35 chp)
Bro this made me feel all sorts of things. This manga may have awakened something within me that never should have been done in the first place.

The story pace is slow then knee jerks you into the action at times. Plot-wise I would have never picked it up since in my house it's considered weird, especially in a stereotypical Chinese household. I was convinced by some video that made me start reading this manga by the channel hazel (you should check her video about it). Also, the art is great, particularly the expressions of the main characters but I gotta confess it ain't for ...

I don't know how much I hurt myself after reading this. Even Nazo no Kanojo X didn't give me this feeling.
D*mn I really wanted an alternate ending.
Yes, I'm a degenerate I know. And I know that doujin exists for this reason, but d*mn I can't lie about my disappointment.

The story is as follows, mc has flashbacks about his mom in his father's POV. It's not a very unique story, but the way it executed itself was pretty great. Also, the fact that this is a short series makes it easier to binge with it's enjoyable pacing.
Why did I gave it a 6 then? Well, it's ...
