"The innocence of first love" : nothing describes Ookumo-chan Flashback better than this.
This manga is clearly underrated and deserves more attention!
I put this manga in "my plan to read" for so long thinking it was not worth it. Turns out I was wrong and the very first chapter immediately made me invested in the characters.

If you are into slice-of-life involving non-cliche romcom then... THIS IS A MUST READ.

Why? I will say because "best girls".
Wait.. "Best girls"? so you are telling me that it's a hare-
Nope.. it is not and you will soon understand why.

I don't know how much I hurt myself after reading this. Even Nazo no Kanojo X didn't give me this feeling.
D*mn I really wanted an alternate ending.
Yes, I'm a degenerate I know. And I know that doujin exists for this reason, but d*mn I can't lie about my disappointment.

The story is as follows, mc has flashbacks about his mom in his father's POV. It's not a very unique story, but the way it executed itself was pretty great. Also, the fact that this is a short series makes it easier to binge with it's enjoyable pacing.
Why did I gave it a 6 then? Well, it's ... just that I would have like an alternate ending. But if you're not a degenerate like me, I'm sure you'd like the ending.

The characters are very enjoyable to say the least. As expected from Nazo no Kanojo X's author. But because of the short number of chapters, it can't help but left a lot of characters underdeveloped.
It's not really a problem since it did develop the main characters. But I can't help but think that there are a lot of potential left untouched.

The art is amazing as always. The sexy panels always pops out and give me feeling that I know I shouldn't have. I always have liked the author's art so you know I'll give it a pretty high score.

Overall, it's just a solid series with wholesome moments and great art. Don't let the fact that it might be incest stop you from reading this. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
Read it yourself because it's good. If you don't like it, then that's okay. At least you've read it yourself and didn't just judge it even if you haven't read it.

super disappointing, thinking i could read something new and innovative, it ended up being just another ordinary romance manga with a totally predictable twist. the author hooks you with the mother son relationship for about 20 chapters and then ends with "just kidding" he will fall in love with his classmate who is a copy of the mother. I know that incest is taboo but we are reading a work of FICTION, if it is going to be like the rest, why bother?

Do not expect an explanation of the flashbacks of the protagonist or that there is no development of all the characters, personally I ... do not think it is a negative aspect but there are many people who are bothered by the lack of explanation. If incest bothers you or you want to read a vanilla romance, go ahead there is no danger
