Akai mi Hajiketa, Deja Vu, 22-26 and Oogiri (and few others) are collections of one-shots. You may also like Shuukan Shounen Girl.

I didn't add good one-shots connected to other series like Bleach, Gantz, Death Note, Lain etc.

There are a lot of one-shots. There are also a lot of one-shots I haven't read. Out of the few I have; these are the ones that are worth your time so you don't have to sift most of the average junk to find the gold. It's a small list but I don't find there's many oneshots out there that really stuck with me like these have.

One-shot from all types of genre. Mostly with no cliffhangers.
I've only added the ones that I have read and found to be good enough. I'll update the list as I read more of these short stories.

What definitely makes manga great would be that it goes over a broad range of themes/topics. Manga isn't afraid of addressing taboo topics, nor does it avoid concepts that most other entertainment mediums WOULDN'T DARE to touch. They also provide an imaginative exploration of how the Japanese perceive these topics. We rarely get cultural perspectives on certain topics.

I love reading tragic and twisted romance. So I made this stack for myself and also for the people who enjoy reading them. Hope you'll be able to find something new through this stack ^^

These are some sad and emotional manga that have moved me and was able to make me cry. Some of these manga might be completely bleak, some of them have an uplifting tone to them. Hopefully it can strike a chord with you as well.

I will mark the ones I personally highly loved and recommend if you want a good cry with a “🖤”.

Thought proving manga that will leave you feeling hollow or wanting for more after you’re done reading them.

Self-explanatory. Generally, this includes any one-shot I have scored 7 or above. This list also could be titled something like "One-shots worth reading", but that sounds kind of "self-centred", for lack of a better word.

As you would expect, I have entirely excluded sequel or side-story one-shots and also avoided hentai one-shots. I have also excluded pilot one-shots.

(The list is very short now as I haven't read that many one-shots, but hopefully it will get much bigger in the near future.)

-Manga that breaks people.
-Manga that will make you feel empty rather than making you cry.

I haven't read a lot of One-Shots, partially because they never develop well enough in a single chapter/volume but there's some that are actually concluded nicely and that I enjoyed reading so I hope I make someone read these One-Shots as well.

Manga that are not very long that you can read in one sitting.
Lots of short story collections, 1-8 Volume series, and oneshots. One sitting does not mean a short time mind you.

I binge read most of these in one sitting. But not all of them. However i will include ones that i think could probably be read in one sitting.

Detailed artwork with beautiful fight scenes, action, etc.
