| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Elfman vs Sol. Pretty much a one sided battle, even more so when Sol gets inside Elfman's head and uses Lisanna's death against him. Her death was so suddenly dramatic... Definitely will be looking forward to Elfman kicking his ass, and Gray vs Juvia! Fairy Tail has picked up a lot lately since the beginning of this arc; pretty good for a shounen, and much better than I had expected. |
| ^^This is one of the better arcs of the series so expect more awesome -Today is "Let's mindscrew Elfman" episode. Sad to see what happened to Lisanna. I really liked how when she got hit, they put the sound on mute. Not that that's the first anime to do that but it always comes across as really powerful when it happens. Seeing this episode reminds me that Elfman should fight in the manga more often. -Natsu: KARYUU NO... Me: Oh great, the stock footage again. Natsu: SPIT! Me: (shoots out milk from his nose) -Lucy looks kinda cute in Mira's dress. -Woot! Lluvia next week! (and hopefully a new OP/ED) |

| Cool episode. I love it when they give extra dimension to less important characters. I feel bad for the Mirajane-Elfman-Lisanna trio, such sad events in their lives :< |
| Lucy got taken away to a safe place last episode. As usual, im not impressed by the animation. Seriously, this series need to be reanimated arghhh.... its so frustrating when the story is so awsome. I absolutely love the additional content relating to Lisanna's death which the manga left out. I really like Sol and Juvia, they are both very unique characters. Sadly Sol will be gone next episode :( They should have lengthened the battle and gave more details leading to Lisanna's death instead of rushing through. Next week is gonna be hilarious... Juvia vs Gray! One of the best battles in the series =D |

| This was so sad :(. I mean I even knew what happened to Lisanna because people here on MAL don't really know how to keep their mouths shut :D [no offense] and I still cried a bit :"(. This episode was amazing nevertheless ^^. I just hope that Elfman's full body Take Over was successful and he won't go on a rampage again ^____^ |

| This one was so sad......I like how they changed it a little from the manga too (they must have pretty good writing staff on this anime, because all the filler/lets extend the footage stuff is pretty good.) I like how they actually show you what happened to Lisanna, I got really annoyed when I though they galzed over it for TV. It made me a little teary (again....) Also, I gotta say I agree with Hydrazoid. The anamation (or just the way it gets stuck on our internet) is really quite jumpy...but still. An amazing series, and very much looking forward to how they do the rest of the Element 4 fights!!!! |

| The first part with Natsu against Totomaru was amazing I was cheering so bad that Natsu would win until the climax within the last few seconds then bang! Natsu blasts through to Jupiter lacrima's big orb and shatters of all things using the katana of Totomaru and that was great!=> This time the second part was so depressing I think after writing this I am going to get some air.......TBH if I got to know the character Lisanna I would have married her before Sawako but alas it was not the case.....Seeing Lisanna just like that being swipped in one shot with Elfman out of control take over body.....that was painful Why did Lisanna not take Mirajane and get more back up? I assume she trusted so much Elfman.....right? One swipe and she is dead? I don't understand it.....Natsu could take so much more hits and never die....I don't understand that.....what I do understand is that Sol will get his ass kicked in the next episode since Elfman is now full body take over! | They sure did drag the Elfman fight quite a bit. Well it was nice development for Elfman. Can't wait for Juvia vs Gray next time. | Aw, I really like Lisanna. It's a shame she had to die. D: Another amazing episode though, even though it was sad. I have to admit that I like Elfman more since he's not just trying to be the tough guy. He wants to protect Mira and her feelings now. The preview for next week looks great! Gray vs. Juvia was one of my favorite fights of the Phantom Arc. |

Most likely because Mashima really didn't go into detail about lots of things so the anime can just expand on it. |

The reason that people believe she can come back is because the creator's name is Hiro Mashima. If you've seen any of his works, you would know. I have no idea why people would think she's alive. Ambiguity surrounding death is a very common theme... It's interesting that people want a character they know so little about be brought back to life. Don't get me wrong though, I'd like to see her brought back as well, but something like that might cause more damage than good to the series itself. Makarov himself said there's no magic that can grant life (remember that filler episode about Happy's birth?), but I expect some Deus Ex Machina to deal with that. |

| Really good episode. this episode the past of Mira jane, Elfman and Lisana was more important than the battle between Elfmand and Sol. Next episode Jubia vs Gray, my fav part of the 4 elememt battle |

| Sorry to ruin the mood but although I find Lisanna cute and all, her death was just plain stupid. I mean when you see a giant gorilla-like demon coming at you, you don't stand in front of it and talk about love, even if it's your possessed brother. -_- That's just some stereotypical and superficial way to create drama. Seriously, Lisanna's death deserves a Darwinian Award. Also how did Mirajane devolve from S-class to noob just because her sister died? Next time we get Ice versus Water. It's like a Pokemon battle with both side at disadvantage! Can't wait. x) |

This arc so far is really impressing me. I knew Lisanna had a tragic end, but damn, killed by her own brother! I actually see this dude being useful in the future. Before he just seemed like a weak, gimmicky character who was probably better for comedy. |

| Wow, this was a really depressing episode... I feel Elf's pain. Can't wait till next weeks ep... But man, as a girl I'm saying this, but I totally missed Lucy in this episode :( She's my favorite! xp And, I don't really wanna know, so don't tell me if you do know, but I really wonder how many episodes Fairy Tail will have. On MAL it says unknown, so I'll let it surprise me. |
