Plus im more of a fan of FMP and Haruhi then I am Key so the sooner Kyo Ani can get working on those the better imo. But yeah, this ep was pretty good, i thought it was fitting she just grabbed the star and took off. Although like someone said earlier "oh yeah we were friends when we were kids" is getting old as well I still think i perfer this arc to fuko's by alot heh. |

| I thought Clannad was already stated to be 2 cour (24-26 episodes)? Going to be hard to keep the viewers interested in a VN adaptation lasting for 52 episodes, just not enough interesting material to work with. |

| Kotomi's arc is hardly as touching as Fuuko's, but it's decent. Quite a few dull parts, Fuuko's appearance was certainly the highlight of the episode for me. As I expected from the start of her story, I'd like it to end asap so we can see Kyou, Nagisa, and [hardlyanyairtime] Tomoyo. |

| I feel like I'll be going against popular demand here, but Kyou is starting to annoy me. She keeps pushing people to do what she wants and keeps insisting on the "going out" thing. It's beyond the "I want to help" thing to me, she's starting to become irritating. This is all my opinion though. About the episode, that was really unexpected. When the man explained about the 'other world' concept, I instantly thought of the girl and her friend she made of scrap. And other little spoilers I've heard about Clannad that I didn't really want to hear. All in all, it was very interesting and her story seems connect more with the general story than separatedly her arc. It's just a feeling I have. Also, Fuko? Be gone already... |
| Aw, she's Fuko, let her stick around. And I think TOmoya is the one sticking into other people's business. Kyou is just very outgoing, plus Tomoya was the one who kept pushing people into her hands. |

| good episode. i dont think its bad that kotomi and tomoya knew each other... i mean, it might be in another anime, but if you think about it, you are just seeing it as your point of view. many animes can have really equal ways of settings, but they all have different storylines. i am not blaming anyone, but the fact that a lot of people complain about kotomi being a childhood friend throughout the whole thread is a little annoying. yes, other animes have it. but all the stories are always different, so i guess we have to see the whole story before complaining that we got an anime really related to kanon... /rant fuko was cute this episode. i laughed when she got the star instead of what she was going to get. kyou is cute, so i would never say she was getting annoying. kyou really was cute this episode when she hugged Ryou when she thought she was in the accident. the kotomi breakdown was awesomely done. and when the old guy mentioned the other world, i could not help but think about the mysterious girl and her doll. this episode was not as comical as other episodes, but it had a really good drama factor. really looking forward for the next episode, which is not gonna air in such a long time... D= |

| I LOVED FUKO'S APPEARANCE!!! check what club I'm the creator of... Ibuki Fuko Fanclub... But all in all I thought it was a really good episode. The Kotomi freak out was really scary. This episode made me care for her more than any other episode for sure... |
| I'm not exactly pissed at the " Tomoya - Kotomi childhood friends" plot twist. But considering there wasn't even much of a clue (unless you think Kotomi only reacting to Tomoya during the first few episodes a hint), I want to see a good explanation first before I can accept it without hesitation. |

| Ok, the Fuko out of nowhere scene was a WTF moment xD Even better that she pretty much used up his money to get herself a starfish plushie. hahahah, then disappeared again. -some- may think it's "tacky" but I really like the random Fuko outburst out of nowhere. I hope for a couple more before her plot is revisited later in the series... And yeah, drama near the end O_O What the hell is up with Kanon guy's having horrible memories? Yuuichi was bad for that too >_>;; Just putting this out now, Tomoyo is also a childhood friend! I can't remember the exact time the hints were thrown out, but it was near when they just introduced her, and she mentioned "do I know you?" or something along those lines. But back to Kotomi, I saw the episode preview... Tomoya, amateur gardener? lol. I'm guessing he's going to clean up Kotomi's yard to make it look like how it did 'when they were kids'. Anyway this post is edging into being tl;dr worthy, and it's 5 am so I'll stop here. But it really sucks that next episode doesn't come out till January 10th :( Maybe I'll be done Air by then...? :) |

| Considering Air is pretty much the anime that put Kyoto Animation in the market, its pretty good in its own right. The problem with it was that they tried to fit too much material in only 13 episodes, as opposed to Kanon and Clannad with 24-26 episodes. Without the overwhelming success of Air, the studio that is Kyoto Animation wouldn't be as successful as it is today. Considering that Air is only 13 episodes, I do agree that it is the best adaptation so far. Clannad hasn't finished its run so we aren't sure whether it can surpass the greatness that is Air. Now this is coming from a huge fan of Kanon, so I don't think my opinion is biased at all. |

| This episode was great, should be good things on the horizon for the series. Just too bad Fuko showed up, most annoying voice ever. I actually almost stopped watching the show because of her. I know she was essential to the development of the other characters but I just couldn't handle listening to her talk. |

| With the load SS-Eclipse has right now, they won't be able to compete with waffle/sprocket in terms of release speed. From the past trends I've seen thus far, you can usually get your Clannad fix Thursday night if you watch waffle/sprocket and around Friday morning/afternoon if you go with SS-Eclipse. It used to be a a tight competition for an early release between the two subbing groups around episode 6. Past that, waffle/sprocket has released their sub give or take either half a day or two days ahead of SS-Eclipse. Of course these useless stats are only for those who are desperate for their Clannad fix. |

Eclipse has a workload to be sure, but they aren't working on their own and they seem to have distributed the members fairly enough so that they can handle all their projects in a fair amount of time (Even Hayate no Gotoku is up to date, and that one was an impressive feat).
