Actually, I'm pretty sure they had actually just seen each other before for an instant in one of the past eps, if my memory is decent at all...; no significance at all. | I don't think Kyou means harm, nor is she doing it forcefully. She just doesn't think Ryou can hook up without help. And by choosing the guy, she makes sure he'll be good for her. We haven't seen their side of the story yet, but from what I've seen, Ryou didn't seem to have any particular interest in Tomoya. She's shy around pretty much anyone. |
| Because you could totally tell Kyou was okay with Ryou going after Tomoya during those first few episodes. She threw a bloody book at him for even teasing Ryou. I'm sure as hell Ryou just couldn't approach him, especially once Nagisa entered the scene, and Kyou decided to help her sister out (without realizing she obviously likes him to a certain extent obviously). And the Kyou arc DOES seem to have a lot of Ryou action too...actually, for a "support" character she has as much screentime as Nagisa, and Nagisa is pretty much the shoe-in heroine. I still like Nagisa and her parents, but she needs a wee little more attention. |

You badger someone enough and they will eventually look at it from your point of view. Ryou will probably end up liking Tomoya primarily to Kyou's influence, that's why Kyou is setting herself up for a fall because of her reluctance to admit her own feelings for him. Gonna be one hell of a good love triangle xD mmm twin catfight...*drools* Ah can anyone please explain to me the meaning of Kotomi's line: "Day before yesterday I saw a rabbit, and yesterday a deer, and today, you." I have my own interpretation of it, but I don't think its in the right context after reading through the dandelion girl. Help meeee =P |

You could also add that they all seem to be "unobtainable" to her. Although thats just a guess. I took it as a way for her to flirt or at least her trying to take a "jab" at him but him interpreting it as flirting. I guess we will find out later. |

| 5/5 episode like the others. Highlights: - Mahou Shoujo Kyou and the rofl'ing that follows; - Kotomi obviously putting the moves on Tomoya; - Tomoya coming out with lines like "I like watching you read and I like your voice" (YOU HAVE NAGISA DAMN PLAYA!); - Kyou apparently acting on behalf of her sister, but it looks to me like _she_ is the interested one... - Kotomi failing at violing even after practice; - Suspicious old man at the end, dun dun dunnnnn! Don't you think Kotomi has just a little bit of Azumanga Daioh's Osaka into her? Like the coming out with random statements. |

| Ah thanks, completely missed that part =P The context is there, but where is the time machine? o-O =P I figured that (in the story) that it may have something to do with Julie going back to the same time period for multiple days, probably waiting for Mark to make his faithful trek. How she knew this would happen, umm the whole space time continuum thingy right? o_O For Kotomi, I guess living the exact same way everyday can have the same effect but where is the time machine =P |
| Maybe Kotomi is from the future @_@ Doubtful :P Anway though, I'm suprised no one seems to have mentioned the significane of the dream sequence? I'm 70% sure that it literally has nothing to do with the story, but then again it would be weird for them to put it in for no reason right? I mean after all in the first episode Ryou tells Tomoya his fortune and the next day he gets run over by Kyou (that's what I thought the signifiance was anyway) So seriously, are we expecting Tomoya to turn into a slug thing and Nagisa to burn all the dangos? Just a thought |

| I had thoughts of Kotomi being somewhat of a savant or something to that effect. Since she's like 3rd best student in the COUNTRY and how she acted in the library (god i love how she scooted over to face Tomoya back in ep 5-ish) Now that the new arc is obviously about Kotomi its painfully obvious (ref: Violin ^_^) That she is some sort of savant like Rain Man or something ^_^ Hard to have moe feelings for an autistic girl ...worse than being a lolicon imo >_<    |
