The current page for the series is the One shot that was published in Feb. The series officially got serialized in WSJ a few weeks ago. |

| So... I've read the first chappie.... Lemme point outthe differences with the One Shot... In the first place.... The uniforms were slightly different... The idea of the Suggestion Box is kept but has more serious request.... they helped a Judo Club enter a competition.... In this case Medaka helped a Kendo Club to get to work... thou both were full of lazy guys, she managed to make them love again the sport they practiced.... the hug was different... and the position that Zenkichi got after helping Medaka was different too... Well So far the it's okay... Still cliche but the feel is a lil' bit better.... Oh the most important thing.... the relationship between Medaka and Zenkichi is explained further here than in the one shot... and at the OS Zenkichi declares his love for Medaka to someone, while at c1 he just thinks about it.... | Not bad so far, but it doesn't seem to be nearly on the level of NisiOisin's other works like Zaregoto, Bakemonogatari, Katanagatari, etc. nor do I like the art nearly as much as Vofan or Take. Hopefully it'll shape up though since this is only the first chapter anyway. I am a big fan of NisiOisin, so I shall have faith for now. |

| Medaka reminds me of Senjouhara. I just found out the Bake series and Medaka Box were written by the same person. It's nice that the story is in Zenkichi's POV. |

| Getting Senjougahara and Hitagi vibes from the relationship between the MCs, though the comparison isn't exact since the characters themselves have different shades to them. That said, i can't wait for the series to impress the pants out of me. Like his two other works have done to me. Impress me Medaka Box! |
