For new chapters, mangashare RSS feeds would work (If they have RSS).

An automatic unzip/unRAR feature? (could be an optional extra included long after the actual mangalist is incorporated)

bugs: showing manga list. Got the section for it but doesn't update them to show what we have, although I'm guessing thats the "filter" part you were talking to.

don"t forget about stoptazmo.com

Don't talk to me about character development if Kaizuka Inaho or Slaine Troyard are in your favorites.

better put ComicRack compatibility. It's the reason I stopped using CDisplay and I think it has plugins support that could be used for the recognition.

Found it.
It has python scripting actually

lol what in the world was i thinking?

recognition for sites

www.mangafox.com
www.onemanga.com
www.mangavolume.com
www.mangahut.com (this site has licensed manga such as Hellsing/Berserk that most sites prevent from viewing)

also some sort of bookmark feature would be nice

also, as someone else stated, a button for Mangatraders should be available. it could possibly be the equivalent of tokyotoshokan. Baka-updates manga/Baka-updates anime could be good too

mangahelpers as well. why does everyone forget about that?
Also, and RSS feed for #lurk with filtering options ;]

Also, the manga panel loads, but manga list doesn't

How about ComicRack support?

It's not only simple viewer like CDisplay but fully featured manga database. So you can keep track automatically for example what chapter/volume you're currently reading. It has its own title recognition and supports pythons scripting for writing plug-ins. It seems relatively easy to integrate it with MAL.

Thanks and good luck!

Edit: i see ComicRack was mentioned before... :)

Also... good idea for #Lurk RSS to monitor new chapters.

I say recognition for the usual online readers like MangaFox and OneManga.
Along with an online reader called MangaToshokan. This is by far my favourite online reader because they update the chapters with the better quality versions. Plus, they have bookmarks and series favourites.

I wont be ever using this feature, except for when I'm reading Bakuman, since I read all other manga via U.S. Manga Books.

the only way I can think of monitoring all external (Standalone) photo viewers (my favorite is XnView btw) is by specifying which applications you view manga with (the exe of the photo viewer), and then use windows and monitor file hooks for that application actively...

that will at the least give you the folder and file names, if these are well structured then it becomes a similar problem to just MAL for anime... I hope you give us access to the regular expressions (for people who wouldn't mind customizing the perl expressions for their own custom naming scheme in case it don't work)

I don't know if this matters but I have my own scheme for organizing, which is the most trite, would be for Naruto Chapter 423 of Volume 46, pages 8-9:
C:\manga\Naruto\Volume 46\423_08-09.png

You have to enable the Manga List plugin.

Thank you, it's working fine now.

Also, the manga plugin seriously needs chapter and volume controls similar to the anime episode managing.

I hope support for Hamana will be added some time in the future. I use Hamana since it displays directly from RARs or ZIPs so I don't have to unpack anything before reading.

I have an issue with MALU ruinning on Win XP.
If I have the manga plugin active MALU gets to "Loading Manga List" and stays there indefinitely... I can still run the program, I think, but it never gets past that...
I'm just running with that plugin disabled for now but I'd love to be able to turn it back on.
Thanks.
