| TO sum it up. This episode was basically a recap of season 1 with reactions by other characters. Sort of like fix with fan-service and recap. |

| Watching the recap made me realize how bad the writing of the first season was. I am hoping that the bad writing and the mediocre animation level up for the GGO arc. Please! Anyways, nice fanservice and quest episode. Good to see Asuna with different hairstyle. |

As far as I can remember, the old SAO players were asked to choose if they want to maintain their old SAO avatar that they used in Aincrad or make a new one using ALO's feauture. Everyone used their old avatar except for Kirito and Asuna. As usual, they won't explain shit like in the first season and I doubt they will do so next season.... I think the animation of this special is actually better than the first season. The first season's animation defines inconsistency. They just focused animating the battle scenes in the first season, other than that they didn't give a crap. |

| They had the girls in swimsuits in both the real world and the game world lol awesome. Kirito commentary on the first season, was good because it's been over a year since I watched the last episode of SAO so this was a good refresher even though I didn't really forget much, if any of it. The new stuff at the end was awesome, the quest was pretty cool. I'd like if they made more episodes like that, all of them partying up and doing a cool quest together. |

| =====Pros===== 1:54 asuna & kirito finally get to meet in real life :D 6:25 awesome swim suit fanservice 13:00 girl x girl fanservice!!! 30:31 smart phones have really replaced the old styled flip-open cell phones 38:57 super fanservice of asuna :DD 54:47; 1:16:25 how dare sugou smell asuna's hair like a dam pervert >:o 1:17:26 HOW DARE SUGOU TOUCH ASUNA THERE >:OOOOO I'm a guy and I feel like I'm being violated as much as asuna 1:21:34 asuna with blue hair… *heart flutters* 1:34:36 nice 'npc quest' twist. Npc dude ends up being a boss baddy. =====Cons===== 1.) Don't like the recaps because we already know what happened in first season of SAO. I just skipped all those summary parts. 2.) Not much asuna x kirito interaction in the real world 3.) The ending wasn't very memorable ------------------- All in all, I wanted more asuna x kirito. Felt like the movie left me with nothing in the final minutes. but that preview at the very end gave me hope & excitement for season 2. asuna all the way!! :D |

| Hirata Hiroaki doing a great job being Klein's voice. This extra edition was good, but not amazing as the anime. Though I was never hoping a special to be better than the original anime obviously, so its fine. |
| im surprised i actually watched a recap. normally it's not something i would do but throughout the whole hr and a half, i was thoroughly entertained and thought to myself, SAO had a pretty good storyline. maybe it's because they removed a lot of the annoying parts and gave us the key parts to the story but from a writer's point of view, i thought ALO was a good way to further SAO due to simply high demand for a continuation, which i believe is the reason why ALO (and the many sequels following) exists. in fact, the recap portion was imo better than the new content. i look forward to what the next arc has in store. |

| Excellent recap/pool/beach/relaxed episode. As others have said, it was quite refreshing to see our old characters again, talking about their adventures in SAO/ALO in a nice, drama-free environment, and then going off together on a nice fun quest. |

| Haven't watched SAO in at least 6 months, so I liked the recap. The only thing that bothered be is that I can't stop hearing fucking Hozuki from Galilei Donna, which brings back the PTSD from that show. |

| Was actually a pretty thorough and well executed recap for once, don't see that every day. Also some pretty relaxing stuffs and a bit of a cute ALO sidestory at the end, kept me hooked at least, not complaining. |

| The pool fan service was nice with all the girls there. The recap was longer than I expected it to be really. The SAO crew's adventure into the sea to see the whale was great loved it. This has gotten me pumped for the next season "Phantom Bullet" should be good, I hope. Great special!!! |

| For this being a recap it was actually pretty good the way they told the story with some slight fan service in between and a whole new part at the end sure made up for a good start to announce the second season so, when Gun Gale finishes I'm sure to marathon it like I did with SAO! Great episode in general the ending sure was lovely! |
