| Hahaha...lol @ Mutta's pic XD The first half went by in quite the fast pace. I didn't expect that. About a year TS. But it was really nice seeing Mutta pilot from start to finish while Young was relaxing ^^ Murasaki and his pranks were lol. Nice seeing them all officially become atsronauts now :D And the ending was awesome. How everyone recommends Mutta so he'll be getting a chance in less than 2 yrs. But the pvs title doesn't look good..."Determination to give up" ?...:( And that Hibbit show was funny. "What about my banana?" |

| Deneil retiring was emotional. And the picture with him as Porco Rosso, lol. And Buddy Gorilla was just too funny. I wonder why Mutta would have to give up on the back up team assignment next week... |

I think this because in many pic and even the OP/ED he is wearing a suit and tie and even when he has a space suit on it has a tie. This could mean something. I still love this anime but it would suck if he never goes to space and takes on a design job of some kind instead. |
| I'm glad Mutta's finally made it. It was a nice scene when their pictures were put next to each other although it was a bit of a shame Mutta had a silly face. |

| Hahaha Mutta's picture was too funny! I kind of felt bad for him tbh. He worked that hard only to have a picture like that. >_< Things really progressed this episode though, especially with that ending. Finally, the hope at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait to see Nanba in space! |

| Mutta's picture was perfect. ^^ My jaw dropped when he started talking about the back-up crew (out of excitement)... and then I didn't watch the preview so I got spoiled here. GAH. Does something happen to Sharon?? Why would he have to reject it? T____T I'm so happy everyone recommended him... he left an impression. -grins- This show never fails to make me love it. and LOL@ Mr. Hibbit. |

He's only been offered a position as a back up crew member, which means the odds of him going up as the back up are slim, but still possible. It was only due to his recommendations from Deneil, Pico, and Azuma which have been built up well. The preview seems like it may complicate the matter though. That Hibbit anime is ridiculous, I was cracking up when I saw Mr. Gorilla. Oh and Murasaki's prank was great. |

YAY! That episode was really good, real heart warming. The Namba brothers must regret their idiocy a lot, Mutta's photo and Hibito must regret saying "YAY" on the moon, he got a retarded(but funny) anime lol. |

| That silly face! Haha, I do not know if Mutta is about to cry or smile. But it is a really good episode. I was not expecting that they will be astronaut already since I thought there will still be a lot of training. And that end! I almost thought that Mutta will be removed as an astronaut when that guy said that he has a low score. But man, what a great opportunity for him! |

| Adding Color to Mutta's Portrait photo really does make a big difference. His blush wasn't that obvious in the manga xD Yes, they are finally showing the next part of Mutta and Hibito's story :3 Look forward to it ^^, |

| Oh well that seemed rather sudden after the gradual build up. I was expecting a slow episode where he would show off his flying skills, but it just went poof he's an astronaut now. I suppose we are finally starting towards the end of the anime. I will be disappointed if he quits before going to space. Although I am sure it would be a well written ending, it just seems sad to think after all that he may not go to space. We will see. The Porco Rosso and Terminator references were funny, and the Mr Hibbit anime. Although I would have liked to see Hibito's reaction to seeing the anime XD. |

| I thought this picture at the ED looked similar ^^ And I thought the reason Mutta is indecisive about being in the backup crew was because he wants to be in the team that's going to build Sharon's telescope. That project might be way in it's early stage, but I wouldn't be suprised if working on experiments with animals in space takes a couple years. |

| Kind of a weird episode ... I mean we didn't see Mutta's last flight with Deniel really, and a surprising time skip to the end of training and them becoming astronauts! I guess it's time to move onto the next part of the show ... haha, all those recommendations but Mutta wasn't very impressive eh? Well but being backup crew would be pretty epic ... his face in the photo though XD I kinda expected something like that ... nice of them to hang his picture up next to Hibito's though :P Mr. Hibbit anime what LOL O_O Sooooo random XD Next episode's title kind of worries me ... | So many important things happened excluding the funny Mr. Hibbit anime Mutta giving a round sunglass to his retiring instructor as a reference to "Pigs don't fly" was funny Letting Mutta to take charge of the entire flight was such a honor and great gift The last flight bucket thrown on Deneil Young was moving Murasaki acts like a TV comedian even in space with his pranks The Ascans graduating was great to see 28 went through out of 30 Picture taken of Mutta which was send to JAXA was hilarious The episode ending with Mutta getting a lot of recommendations despite his two flaws was a nice detail for the director to offer him a back up position for the new project Off to space Mutta, Yay! |
| So he's finally an astronaut. ^-^ Wouldn't taking a back-up position make it less likely for you to be assigned as a primary in the future? That's the first thing that came to my mind. Maybe I'm underestimating how big an offer being backup is, but Mutta might be better off holding out. Sad to see Young go. |
| Idk about this ,the pacing just feels off for most of the series .Its either much to slow or much to fast (such as in this case) Was expecting more challenges,teamwork bonding and overall just more from this NASA training part ,not to mention how they treated the learning to fly a plane much to casually. |
