| Haruhi, a franchise that is still making its way to references more than 6 years later. Well, if Tomoko thought G was for Giant, she shouldn't have been surprised at the size of the Grande Cappucino she ordered. Tomoko, way in over her head with that red-light district stuff. I remember a chapter like this, but the later part seemed to have been changed, IIRC. The hell was that special ED... It's a parody of an old show, apparently. |

The special ED is a close copy of the style of the ED of the old Japanese anime series まんが日本昔ばなし (Manga nippon mukashi banashi) which started airing back in 1975. That version is titled にんげんっていいな and it was used in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987. This version has been covered and parodied many times, as you can see if you do a search on YouTube for にんげんっていいな. All of the episodes were just ten minutes long after the OP and the ED were removed. You can find many of them if you go to YouTube and search for まんが日本昔ばなし. Unfortunately, they are not subbed. But you are right that it was changed at the end. The anime is the same as the manga up to the part where Tomoko's mom phones her. The anime then shows those visually overwhelming scenes as Tomoko returns back home. I give credit to the anime creators that they know when to add original additional content while being faithful to the manga. |

| That part at the end with the street spinning around Tomoko is going to be timeless. Does anybody have any idea what part of Tokyo that is based on? Also, what are those woman dolls on top of the frames on top of that car? - - - - - - - Here are my predictions for Episode 6 tomorrow. It will be based on the following chapters from the manga... | Admittedly, I found this ep to be hilariously funny. The cappuccino, photo booth and scenes with her brother were all great. Odd ED though. |

| 5/5 Too bad, Tomo seems to be back to her downward spiral of mental indolence and flash, but something more explicit muove.Trama as we can be. Fabulous narration during the photo and brother!
