I'm not sure if it fits though, on 1 hand its angsty as hell. But this kind of OP for a Comedy/SoL? That aside, it had everything I expected from it after reading the manga. |
| Finallyyyyyyyyyy. I just love Tomoko from the manga. Thank God this is a full airing series rather than some short. This face:  Her room is so simple~ I also think her VA did a nice job portraying her character. She looks cute in pigtails and glasses imo. She's sooo nervous most of the time lol. *wants hamburger*. Anyways, loved the first episode. This was amusing. Tomoko ftw. ED song was brilliant as well with the voice acting. |

| lol @ "kono ato sugu!" (right after this) part (before beginning the ep.) OMG!! That cacophony of soundtrack! Wow, very heavy metal OP with Konomin and some kind of rock band. "Mojo", a girl not being popular. lol @ "Gaagle" Nakamura-san is the younger brother? lol @ "Maiu Bou" She didn't even properly talk (maybe she did, but how her voice came out did not!) |

| I was very pleased with this first episode. Dat OP, holy shit. The ED was quite ingenuous with the phones. Tomoko reaction faces galore. I expect many gifs of her reactions. |

| Being a fan of the Manga since it started I had really high hopes for this and I was more than pleased. Kitta, Izumi did an amazing job portraying Tomoko, this is probably going to be my favorite this season. |
| Easily - the comedy of the season! I don't know, but it awfully reminds me of Detroit Metal City, especially the OP. Totally hilarious! I'm guessing the brother (why do these kids look like descendents of Dracula on his day off ?? :P ) has an important role in the series, so picture of dem two siblings:  Absolutely loved it! Did she puke at the sight of her "bishoujo" transformation?! Also, the Ulquiorra and Death Note moments! :D |

| According to Square Enix Web Magazine, Volume 1 of the manga set a new record for selling 100,000 copies in the shortest time. So this seems to be a phenomenon. | Hi Sury, Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy. For some reason, this is a very common error made in translation. I am 100% sure that I am right, since I have been doing this for 30 years. So..... 万 = 10,000 10万 = 100,000 |
| ^ Yes, I also understand that line by simply reading, but my Japanese isn't good enough to understand the whole article without using a translator or a dictionary. And this error is a pretty good example for common mistakes those helpers still often suffer from, which can be quite a hassle. |

To be fair, those on-line translators work pretty well for most languages. However, I have noticed that it seems to be pretty much impossible with Japanese, except when working with very short sentences. There is something about the Japanese language that is ... different. |

| Pretty legit first ep. Dat ending doe. I felt so bad :( but that makes the future eps that much better! Also loved the OP. Havn't heard a hardcore-ish OP since death note. |
